jc: new polls released put clinton ahead of trump. most polls has clinton at 46.6% and trump at 43.3%. newscenter 5 has you covered and we go to john atwater who is focusing on the clinton campaign. reporter: the margins are very narrow going into election day and hillary clinton is hitting the states that could help her secure a w hillary clinton is back in pennsylvania where her lead has slipped in the last few weeks. >> in pennsylvania it is all about election day. reporter: it is one of two visits she will make to the state where 20 electoral votes are on the line. she is also campaigning in michigan and north carolina. before voting begins she is suggesting a critical difference between her and the republican nominee. >> anger is not a plan, my friends. if we're going to harness our

president are hoping that many of the young people may be inspired just today to go to the polls tomorrow. live in durham, wcvb newscenter 5. >> ben: both trump and his running mate mike pence will be in new hampshire. they are holding a rally and that's where sean is tonight. reporter: the event will be 9 -- the second to last trump rally. trump is racing across four states and day in florida and then north carolina and pennsylvania, new hampshire and then ending the night in michigan. manchester, new hampshire will be one of two events where trump will be joined by his running mate. a new survey released today shows clinton leading trump in the granite state 49% to 38%. trump is making more for the

10:00 in the morning it will be noticeably milder and the temperatures will continue to move up during the day. by the time we get to lunchtime we are averaging upper 50s in the early afternoon, upper 50s and low 60s across the area. we'll talk about the nation for election day and the rest of our weather. jc? jc: a suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting in everett this weekend. diane is live where the suspect was arraigned today. reporter: jc, the suspect was facing several charges including armed robbery, carjacking and murder. 27-year-old keith herring kept his head down. >> the victim was driving a 2007 audi a6. he called the victim's number and identified himself as mike that he wanted to buy marijuana from him. reporter: the victim, 21-year-old gary was initially

marijuana to that man, but eventually agreed to meet with him and the suspect got in the victim's car. the man who called himself mike was identified as 27-year-old keith herrod of briton. he told him to get out of the car because he wanted to speak with the victim's girlfriend and he refused. that's when he shot the victim. the victim fell out of the seat and the victim's girlfriend ran out of the car and that's when the suspect took off in the victim's >> she ran over to the victim and saw he was bleeding in the shoulder and put pressure on the wound. >> the victim was taken to the hospital where he died. >> the officers from everett police department contacted the monitoring and they were identified she was on the street at the time of the shooting. >> the suspect's attorney declined to comment. they revoked the suspect's

you're watching newscenter 5 at 5:00. >> ben: a pipeline that exploded in alabama is now in service. it exploded monday a week ago. while crews were making repairs a piece of excavation equipment caused the explosion. four people injured remain in the hospital. >> j.c.: the fbi and homeland security are looking into a string of murders in south carolina. he reportedly con to seven murders dating back to 2003. he was arrested last week when police found a woman chained in a shipping container on his property. police are certain they have the right suspect. >> i bet my farm, your farm or anybody else's farm we have the right person. we have him. jc: he was allowed to speak to his mothery and then confessed to the unsolved string of

shooting of a young black man by police. he was shot after a road rage incident escalated into a fight involving a funeral party. police say he refused to drop his gun when won fronted by a police sergeant. they don't say when he fired his weapon. >> ben: an earthquake rattled central oklahoma. it measured a 5 and was centered in cushing which is home to one of the world's most important oil the oil terminal. many buildings saw cracked floors and buildings. it is the third to be a 5 on the richter scale in oklahoma. one silver lining to an early sunset. we are looking west and it is in downtown boston looking out toward the metro west area. >> that looks like a

sunset was at 4:30, but because it is perfectly clear and no clouds, there is a little light. harvey: it is perfectly clear like that. with a dry air mass that could happen. we know it was chilly early this morning especially areas north and west. they will be in eastern areas. the air is dry and the winds are light and it even though it is not the coldest air mass in the world it will give you one more. it is so picturesque. 43 in boston. very little wind at this particular time. the temperatures will therefore start to drop. we have dropped into the upper knitters -- the upper 30s. even in taunton. a lot of hours with clear skies and light winds and the

pretty thick. it will stick around until maybe 8:00 tomorrow morning. then with mostly sunny skies the temperature responds nicely. the last of the clouds have been exiting and there is a light wind off to the north and west. the winds are diminishing now. it has been a windy day. these are your overnight low temperatures. keep in mind any low-lying areas in between these stations will easily be in t during the overnight period. again we are starting out chilly. it is already in the upper 30s to mid40s. what a temperature bounce back from the real frosty start in most of the area to up around 60 on average. i will say 1:00 in the afternoon. tomorrow if are you are thinking of voting and maybe in metro west, for example or areas south and west of boston, wellesley about 43 to

talking about 6:00, 7:00 in the morning it will be frosty in this area. up to midmorning it is 40 and lunchtime it is in the early to mid-afternoon and it is upper 50s to around secretary very very -- around 60. then the temperatures will come back and the skies will be mainly clear and no big problem. notice how the temperatures are mild over just about the entire country exspent for thech after that chilly start that will happen. as for moisture, i don't see much happening around the country and in terms of too much pre -- precipitation. we get more of a westerly wind and it warms us up. the next front will cross the
