that is what the neighbors tell us and we did some digging to find out that a resident here was arrested yesterday. meanwhile this duplex remains unlivable. let's take a look. we have got charred remnants, on the porch, scorch marks up and down the building and burned-out furniture over on the curb. >> my reaction was i wonder you know? i could not figure out why would be 4:30 am in the morning. >> reporter: he woke up to the smell of smoke and the crackle of fire early yesterday morning for this duplex was engulfed in flames. he says that one man either jumped out of the top window. inside it was 46-year-old frank solomon who according to the medical examiners offers -- officer died. he lived here along with elizabeth scott in these court documents show that he was arrested and charged yesterday with aggravated murder it is
