. no at noon, a case of a deadly shooting at a sandwich shop. police have a person in custody after someone murdered a teen at a in hero restaurant. newschannel5's meg shaw is following this developing story. >> reporter: i have been talking with two police departments about the suspect in custody. i am told they are connecting that same person to a second robbery from saturday, this time in university heights. cleveland heights police tell me a person fitting the suspect's description from the fatal mr. hero robbery was

9:00 sunday night. officers spotted him leaving a dollar general store. on friday an armed robber seen in these surveillance photos shot and killed 15-year-old sonny patel while he was helping out at his family's restaurant. they fired one bullet at patel, demanded money and took off. he later died at university hospital. as for the second robbery i mentioned earlier, police in university heights tell me the same robbery on saturday around 9:00 p.m. in their city. they haven't released any details about the incident yet, be you we should expect charges to come later in this case. at this point police here in cleveland heights have not released the suspect's name and say no charges have been filed just yet. they say detectives are still investigating. we will keep you updated on what happens. in cleveland heights, meg shaw, 11 alive! newschannel5. right now police are

to pass along to people on the west side this evening. all five lanes of the innerbelt bridge are now open. it is first time in years the traffic on i-90 will flow freely downtown. it is almost a month since the grand opening of the second bridge and since that time odot has been unwinding detours and access to ramps. this week odot will be working to change the big overhead signs leading to the bridge. many of us know it has taken get to this point. odot calls this the largest bridge replacement project in ohio's history. the east and west bridges cost about a half billion dollars. again, the five westbound lanes are open today. the five eastbound lanes are scheduled to open next monday. in cleveland, sarah buduson, newschannel5. >> thank you, say restrooms stand proud, tribes fans.

. the trial is getting under way for the with whistle blower in the jerry sandusky case. mike mcqueary is suing the university. he says he was retaliated against and fired from the school in 2012 after he went to coach joe seeing sandusky sexual assault a boy in the shower. sandusky was later convicted of abusing ten boys. well, a popular magazine, "rolling stones", is also headed to court today. a former university virginia associate deep of students is suing the magazine for the defamation of the debunk article called "rape on campus" about a woman claiming she was sexual assaulted by a fraternity on the campus.

the neck when a group of men in two cars began shooting at one another. they don't believe trinity was involved with the shootings. police have already charges 21- year-old davonta middlebrooks with child endangerment and possession of a firearm with a felon. three others have also been charged with endangerment. trains are once again rolling hoboken train terminal in new jersey. transit officials fully reopened the station early this morning after being shut down for more than two weeks after a train crashed into a train station at a high rate of speed on september 29th. one woman was killed and more than 100 others suffered injuries. officials are still investigating. initial results show the train's brakes were working correctly, but for some reason it accelerated 40 seconds before crashing. hillary clinton and donald
