he stepped down one day before 8 on your side revealed a history of crashes with him behind the wheel. he pulled out in front of a pickup truck while driving a school because of kids on board. marissa joins us live in lakeland. that is where the crash happened right there behind you, correct? >> reporter: that is right. take a look right over here. he got a ticket for it. we looked into his record. behind the wheel of a school bus. parents want to know why he was on the job so long. >> 20 students were on the bus during those terrifying moments including randy noble. >> can you describe what it was like inside the bus? >> carey. we went flying. >> reporter: three kids went to the hospital right away with minor injuries. noble's parents took him later in the evening.

driver. he pulled out in front of a pickup truck. 8 on your side obtained a copy of his record. this is his third crash. the first happened on april 8th and then another on april 19th. the accident review board determines he made improper turns. they forced him to take a defensive driving course and retrain. parents wonder why he was ever allowed back behind the wheel for the district. >> after the wouldn't have been driving for me. >> reporter: she wouldn't comment on his prior record, but tells us safety is a top priority. >> what do you say to parents who are concerned that this guy was still behind the wheel? >> well, i would be concerned as well, but i want them to be assured that we take their children's safety seriously and we're going to make sure that's our drivers are prepared and equipped to drive safely. >> parents say something needs

>> if it is with a bus and kids, no. that is not acceptable. >> reporter: we learned that he has a c d l with passenger and school bus endorsement and had 38 1/2 hours of on the road training, only 18 are required. we did stop by his house but no one answered the door. thank you. it is regulators versus ride sharing companies in hillor transportation commissioners voted to adopt could be the tipping point to drive them out of the county for good. the pt c did back off on controversial rules, but would not budge to fingerprint those drivers. this has been followed for months now. he has the latest developments and not too many people happy with the pt c tonight.

this comes from a similar case in pasco county. eight days ago an employee jumped on his car and he is in serious condition. he came back from the grave so to speak and is getting a new home. today the humane society celebrated the adoption of bart known as the zombie cat. his previous owner buried him in 2015 after he was struck a car. the owner swore the cat was dead but bart was very much alive and clawed his way out of the grave. the humane society helped him. >> he didn't know what a toy was. he didn't know what a litter box was. he didn't know what a cat bed was so initially was getting him healthy and then it was teaching him how to be a spoiled cat which he picked up on very, very quickly. >> valerie has been taking care
