in the tropics, we tend to watch those areas coming off of africa. we start to shift, the warmer waters of the caribbean and the gulf. there is karl. 45-mile-per-hour winds. no affect on us and the same story for lisa. this one will stay out to sea. not in the best environment for strengthening the system. it will curve off to the northeast. the forecast, a possibility these showers are still continuing, even thunderstorms. friday morning, lots of sunshine, a few pop-up showers in the red color, that dry area you saw, still will keep a stable atmosphere and about a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. the same story as we get into saturday and also the afternoon, a few pop-up showers overall. most of those in some of the inland areas. the drier air will persist. 77 degrees for the morning. warm already. lots of sunshine. we'll see the warm-up happen
