4:01 pm
weekend, just a gorgeous friday afternoon for you if you are just getting off of work in brondon, it's 82 degrees with winds coming in out of the north-northeast between 5 to 10 miles per hour. notice no rain at this location, and really, our rain chance is going to stay low for the rest of this evening. awesome news for the friday night blitz, as well. at kickoff tonight, temperatures will be in the upper 70s. there's only a slim 10% chance of a very light passing shower through this evening. the air is pretty dry, so we're not expecting to see muc comfortable temperatures, and it should be pretty nice as a cold front arrives by the final play. winds will pick up, though, as the front arrives. so there's the front just off to our north right now. it's weakened quite a bit, though. by the time it gets here, unfortunately, it just doesn't look like it's going to bring as large of an effect on our weather. so for the rest of this evening, winds will be out of the northwest. you could see temperatures low to mid 80s. 83 in tampa.
4:02 pm
80 currently in venice. definitely been warm again this afternoon. tonight, despite the front moving through, we are only going to fall back into the mid 60s, which is where we were at last night. winds will increase, though. so it's going to be breezy when you wake up saturday morning. that will be the big difference, and then through the day, temperatures topping out in the low 80s. so just slightly cooler behind the front, but we'll take a full look at your weekend forecast coming up in a few minutes. >> all right. thanks, julie. right now, we have new details about the man arrested for a polk county hi killed a woman. a judge granted bond today for 71-year-old charlie luis. court documents show lewis admitted he knew he was involved in the hit and run before he was arrested. jessica's mother tells us the arrest brings closure, but she is still angry. >> he took the life of my daughter. he took the life of my grand kids' mother, and the life of a family member that everybody loved.

counting draft -- i don't think there's a wrong way to look at this. >> this is literally right down the middle of the season. >> it is not good right now. not good on the field. not good in the training room. eight games into the season, as i mentioned, the bucks are in a very scary position. if it turns around, there's still time for them to climb to 8 wins or maybe beyond, but at 3 and 5, do the math. they have to finish 5 and 3 now to wind up with a 500 record. what does that get last night's 43-28 thumping at the hands of the falcons. a cold dose of reality. the falcons are cruising now, 6 and 3. a division title beginning to emerge on the horizon. the bucks meanwhile two games under 500 with the bears, the chiefs, and the seahawks looming. the good thing about thursday night games, teams turn it into a mini bye week after the game. so the bucks have a few days off to collect themselves but the time for talk is just about run
