morning. >> we look at traffic and weather together. but first you're up. >> fantastic, everyone having a good time, headed to the beaches, water temperatures a little cool for our tastes in florida but daytime temperatures certainly very comfortable. in fact we're going to be in the 80s the next few days so perhaps a little more uncomfortable as the humidity comes up as well. low 60s to mid-60s now. i think we'll be in the mid-80s by the time we get into tomorrow, let's not get ahead of ourselves. this is the 24-hour temperature change. running from 5 to 11 degrees warmer than this time yesterday with that southeast wind that is going to moderate our temperatures. not only at night but also during the day. temperatures now in the 50s and 60s. brooksville, there at 49. the one spot a little cooler than the rest of us but by lunchtime we're going to warm up to the mid-70s and we're not stopping there. the commute forecast 80 degrees.

let's check the morning commute on the roads. it's been a little busy this morning. corey dierdorff is behind the wheel driving around for us on i-275 and i-4 around the junction there. traffic till pretty light at this time of the morning. no crashes or breakdowns on the interstates to slow you down, but you might run into construction southbound 275, a little closer to memorial highway. i have an update on the serious crash i told you about a little earlier in lake wales. it's a fatal crash, someone was killed here overnight. state road 60 at evergreen drive. competely shut down the westbound lanes but the lanes are back open now. so no more delays there. no need for a detour. checking your drive on i-4 heading into downtown tampa, traffic looking pretty good here, and checking drive times all the way back from the lakeland area, 22 minutes from county line road to downtown.

minutes to get from 75 to 275. it's 5:32. new protections for students could be in place today in highlands county. in the wake of a troubling teacher sex scandal we've been following for weeks now. today the school board is going to decide whether stacey hooks should be fired after deputies say they found evidence she had sex with a 14-year-old student. later porn was found on her cell phone and deputies increased the charges against her. school board members will discuss whether to change the rules on what to do when someone suspects child abuse or minor. sex, lies and videotape. day two of the hulk hogan testimony continues. we're expecting to learn about hogan's state of mind when he agreed to have sex with the wife of his then best friend tampa radio host "bubba the love sponge." abc action news reporter rodney dunigan live at the courthouse

>> reporter: in just a matter of hours, 8:00, hulk hogan will be walking through the doors of the pinellas county courthouse. he's expected to take the stand once again and today he'll be describing in further detail what led him to make the decision to sleep with his best friend's wife. in day one of testimony he described how he was in a dark place in his life at the time. he was going through a breakup with his wife and he believed that bubba and his wife heather were some of the only friends that he had at the time. at the urging of his friend he agreed to sleep with heather at the couple's home but what he claims he did not know was that encounter in 2006 was being recorded. that video made its way to the web site gawker. they posted it and here we are today, millions of internet views later. hogan says he was completely humiliated when he learned of the tape's release. he described in court exactly how he was lured in. >> it was like a low point in my life that -- when bubba

score well on college admission tests. lawmakers argue the program is unnecessary and unfair to older teachers. additional money will also go to the agency that helps people with disabilities. the deal means the legislature will end its session friday. patients near the end of their lives could soon have a new option to ease their suffering. we'll be watching to see if florida governor rick scott will sign a just passed medical marijuana bill into law. it would let terminally ill patients buy and use the drug but cancer patients, quadriplegics, certain disabilities are still barred from using it. a medical marijuana advocate is calling out lawmakers for this saying this amounts to typical tallahassee window dressing. in democracy 2016 -- four states are holding primaries or caucuses today and michigan will be the one to watch. the one with the most delegates at stake. on the republican side michigan has 59 delegates at stake. in mississippi there are 40 up

another doctor accused of practicing without a medical license. an undercover detective arrested manuel cordova at his haines city office. the degree says he earned his degree in natural medicine is now closed. the state says it hasn't issued licenses in natural medicine in more than 50 years. cordova's landlord says he doesn't believe patits were completely in the dark about his lack of qualifications. >> what i hear is they give you a waiver to patients, saying he's not a doctor. >> the state department of health says one of its investigators heard the so- called doctor advertising on a local spanish speaking radio show and an undercover detective made an appointment. he said cordova diagnosed him with a -- made up condition." the first uterus transplant

that otherwise thought they couldn't get pregnant. the real test of success is the pregnancy itself of course. the 26-year-old woman who received the transplant is now sharing her story for the first time. doctors say she's doing well after last month's surgery. that woman was born without a uterus and was told she would never be able to have children. now she might be able to. >> i would like to take a moment to express the immense gratitude i feel towards my donor's family. they have provided me with a repay. i am beyond thanksful for them. is temporary, that woman will have to have it removed after she has one or two babies. she also has to wait a year before trying to get pregnant. she'll have to use ibf to get pregnant using already frozen embryos and once she gets pregnant and has the baby she'll have to do so by c- section because it's not clear

a crash in bradenton in the manatee countyier, cortez road at 14th street west. i saw slowdowns northbound. in the past few seconds looks like the yellow traffic indicators turned to green so sounds like -- or looks like this crash could be moved out of the way. give yourself extra time but otherwise looking pretty good there. construction through hillsborough on 275 cleared, looking great through downtown tampa. these cars here heading southbound just six minutes to get to the howard frankland bridge. 5:49. now to the latest "dirty dining" report by abc action news anchor wendy ryan. the ice sports forum got a bad review from state inspectors last week. it offers public skating, laser tag arena and it's the official training facility for the tampa bay lightning. the power play grill and bar inside the forum in brandon had to stop serving food and shut down for a night after live roaches were found crawling in the kitchen.
