terrifying home invasion. >> clifton french live outside the town & country community where this happened a look at how common these crimes are in that part of town. >> reporter: there have been dozens of burglaries and robberies in and around this park behind this school bus but the latest crime rises to a new level. these men accused of robbing and 83- year-old woman according to deputies it was this 18-year- old man who took the robbery to a violent extreme, the report says ricardo marquez torres broke into the home and punched the elderly woman several times and drug her around by her hair for stealing a safe with thousands of dollars worth of jewelry inside. 30-year-old thomas mendez was the driver waiting in his car for him to return with the

they were stuck on a sandbar, and at some point they called back to the boat rental company and they said we will push it off the sandbar, the man did and as he was pushing it off he took an extra step and went under the water, he appeared once more and then wasn't seen again, right now we have multiple agencies looking for the gentleman. with safety harbors, clearwater fire rescue department, the coast guard the florida fish and wildlife commission, they are all here in a diligent effort to find this gentleman to make sure he has recovered safely. >> there were two witnesses? >> there were two gentleman on the shoreline who saw the women's cry for help, both of the gentleman entered the water to try to recover the gentleman but they were unsuccessful.

beach day with highs in the mid- 80s not bad at all, still warm but the beaches will be a bit different after this cold front comes through with temperatures on the warm side in tampa, 83 degrees in brandon, 84, westchase at 82, to the north in citrus county the temperatures have been coming down over the last couple of hours, 80 degrees in crystal river. still warm but the cooler air to south across the area really settling in overnight, take a look at our winds they are out of the northwest remember we have had a northeast flow for days on the end but now the winds are coming from the northwest tapping into the cooler drier air from behind this front and wind speeds have been between 10 to 15 miles per hour gusting into the 20 mile per hour range, a lot of sunshine for now until the
