the sheriff will update us on an accident that injured a deputy and killed a woman. >> we have charles lewis known as charlie lewis, 71 years of age in custody. here is how it happened. the crimestoppers tip came in, it gave us information to include a blue ford pickup truck, our homicide team from traffic investigations turned down the street looking for the house. they did not have a house number, they were prepared to go door to door when low and behold, who is driving down the road in a blue pickup truck but our suspect charlie lewis. we took him into custody, he confessed. he said he was drinking that night, he saw the deputy, he saw the deputies car, he did not see the deputy.
