we learned the mother accused of abandoning her newborn girl who police named baby willow has had several visitors behind bars. >> the jail term for susan richardson has been visited by the father of several of her other children and other family members. earlier this week we reported that prosecutors file formal charges against her for child neglect channel 9s jeff deal met with the legal analyst about the charges and richardson's own words may come back to hurt her. >> reporter: she told police that she dropped her baby girl off in front of a random apartment and did not even wait until someone answered the door to see if anyone answered the door. legal analyst believes in the case ever goes to trial here, those words will cost serious problems for her defense. it is a different -- disturbing case evidence of childbirth in

massive search for missing newborn baby willow. that was one month ago. her mother susan richardson was arrested after she told police she dropped off the baby girl on the doorstep of a random apartment, knocked on the door and left before anyone answered. this week state prosecutors file formal charges against her for child neglect and desertion. >> she may have provided the most damning evidence against herself. >> legal analyst bill schafer working as a prosecutor and defense attorney says richardson's statement alone about dropping the child off may be enough to get a conviction and defense will hope to keep that out. >> first thing i would do is to move to suppress statements she made. >> reporter: not spending the to go after more serious charges like murder as the weeks go by, it seems more unlikely she would be filed. search of dumpsters, sewers and with nothing. even though richardson has had

seminole county has been dubbed the epicenter for bear attacks and all of florida. now we are asking my county leaders want to protect bears from future hunts. >> if you have a ban on deer hunting seminole county acting that sends a strong message. >> florida wildlife agents have not said whether they plan to hold another bear hunt this year following last year's controversial hunt which was the first of its kind in 2010, county leaders may take a preemptive strike against the killing of bears at least the summer. attacks that happened and sumter county the state officials say prompted the hunt county like seminole actually prevent the state from hosting a hunt in the backyard.

in central florida but not the first in the state. working on that part for eyewitness news at 5:00. live in sumner county, karla ray, channel 9 eyewitness news. >> folks will be concerned about what they decide. following breaking news in brevard county now. two children were hit by a car or troopers say the crash happened in corny parkway, grove blvd., merritt island. we're told both young victims had to be flown to the hospital or troopers say the driver who hit the children stayed at the scene. we have calls into investigators to get more information and we will bring you an update on the injuries. deputies say a special needs student the polk county was forced to hitchhike and walked 30 miles home when his bus driver forgot him alone on a bus, not once, but twice. in less than one week. cameras installed in the bus recorded the incidents. you can see the driver gail brown and the bus attendant gwendolyn simmons leave the bus and close the doors after dropping off all the other students. they are from our children's academy. you can see the 13-year-old

up and saw he was alone and cracked open a window, climbing out, trying to get home. it was not the first time the two women let the student alone on the bus. less than one week later, march 8, investigators say the student was overlooked again while sleeping on the bus pick this time, they say he was forced to open up the school bus doors to start his 30 mile trek home. polk county share says the boy tried to tell one of the women he was left behind but she did not believe him. >> the next day when he gets on the bus which is march 3, he tells the attendant, hey, you left me on the bust yesterday. the attendant then brushed it off. >> both of the women charged with two counts of negligent child abuse. as a child reminder system on the bus drivers are supposed to push after they had checked to make sure everyone is off. deputies say the women admitted to having a student the activate the system and they
