are down into the lower teens. bedford feels like 17, worcester feels like 12 and also look at these winds coming off of erie an ontario. those are late snow stream's. usually they fall apart by the time they reach new england but look at this. these stream of snow have been going all afternoon. that's a snow gun. all the way to the mid coast of maine unreal, even a couple of flurries in the metrowest earlier this afternoon. so the wind will friday away, mainly clear skies, it is cold for tonight and tomorrow morning morning. teens in the lower 20's. clouds win out through the day tomorrow and in fact i think even tomorrow morning skies cloud over from this weather system right here it's a clipper system and it will generate some snow and rain showers. the front end of this weather system for the city of boston is going to be in the for of rain. but it doesn't pester you until very late in the day, probably not even until the backside of the evening commute with temperature tomorrow mid 30's to the lower 40's of here is your travel.
5:48 pm
of it then as we work to the ladder half of the evening commute rain showers in the metro, fair conditions then i do think that will eventually end as a couple of snow showers so there may be some dizzy travel mid to late tomorrow evening. i think the commute though for the most part should be okay because again this weather system not really showing up on our part of the world until the backside of the weather commute but we will have rain showers in the metro, 95 corridor, off clock or 7:00 tomorrow night. here is your snow shower activity. even squalls possible in the worcester hills. per magazine valley oh so be mindful of that if you are out and about tomorrow evening then by 10:00 or 11:00 tomorrow night show is over. just like that, skies begin to clear out. how much snow. again where you are all snow one to two inches of snow outside of 495. merrimac valley route 2 corridor i think around the metro, cape ann, city of boston, south shore it's rain shower activitiy and that will end as a coating to maybe an inch but even this amount here if those roads are not treated 8:00 or 9:00
5:49 pm
dizzy out there for a short time time. now on wednesday another blast of cold air, windy conditions as well. high pressure is with us yet again on thursday and really even into friday so after tomorrow's weather system we're done until the weekend. that system is a bit challenging challenging. at one time i thought that might be our first big snowstorm but it looks like it might take on the pattern of what's going going on so far where we have cold shots of air come into new england but nothing like now is locking in. cold high pressure out ahead of these storms and that's what you need if you are looking for snow or not looking for snow but at this time it's appearing mainly as rain on saturday although that still may be in the form of snow and rain, 495 and worcester hills more on that as we work through the week. . >> anchor: honda and volvo receiving some top honors today. the honda civic and the 2016 vol volvo won car and truck utility of the year. the award sail took place at the international auto show in detroit the auto show opens to
