to play-offs 7 news confirms defensive end chandler jones was admitted to norwood hospital. it happened sunday according to this foxboro police log 25-year-old football player walked into foxboro public safety building with a medical emergency. four officers along with a firefighters did a medical evaluation in the back parking lot. then had him transported by ambulance to the hospital. the patriots tell 7 news chandler jones was admitted to the hospital sunday and released that day. he reported to work on time monday morning and has participated in all meetings and practices since then. and jones lives around the corner from this police department. we understand an officer went to his home to secure it on sunday. reporting live from foxboro kimberly bookman, 7 news night team. chandler jones was at practice today rob gronkowski was missing in action joe amorosino is here with more on that as the pats prepare for the weekend. joe. everything was going perfectly well for the patriots this week

crash in downtown boston. this happened intersection beacon tremont streets a suv going in reverse wrong way in 1 way street hit a man walking then witnesses say the suv only stopped when it hit a mini van causing a chain reaction. in all four cars involved, two people were taken to the hospital. one of the victims seriously injured. an arrest after dangerous duel a fall river convenience store is caught on camera. police is a man wearing a mask tried to rob that store this weekend attacking the clerk with a knife. after demanding money from the cash register you can see here the clerk fought back. it was so violent both men swinging knives at each other. well here is the suspect jose sanchez appearing in court today. he's charged with an armed robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon. we're learning more today about at victim from a shooting that took place in brockton last night. police say shots rang out at 8:00 p.m. one bullet flying into
