i saw scratches on the door roof bars, little on the back pretty deep scratches. he say the car wash's manager agreed to pay for the damage and got an estimate then took the suv to a body shop to get it fixed. they said it would be about a week to get it done and i would need a rental car p he reached out to the manager again. this time about covering the cost of the rental. he said no problem, send me the bill and i will reimburse you. once repairs were made dan dropped off th rental reimbursement and the manager confirmed that he received it. repairs were great, everything looked good. >> reporter: the company paid for repairs but dan was still waiting for his $281 dollar rental reimbursement. he e-mailed the manager again who asteward hmm he would take care of it that week. down never got the check and said the manager stopped responding. i have a chain of e-mails saying he would do and i figured you guys could get me my money.

>> anchor: wet there has worked its a in and it's sticking around with us throughout the better part of this weekend. 58 right now in boston, we still have the persistent wind out of the northeast and that will be the case for the next couple few days. let's talk about that wet weather. i was just looking at trey daerr's live shot at fenway and rain has falling. we have more moderate rainfall along and just south of the mass pike moving through some steadier rainfall, dorchester as i mentioned fenway getting it right now. i we can still get a game in tonight but it may take a while i'm lot of delays there but we have to wait and see what happens. along the south shore and also provincetown getting out of the heavier rain at this point. also southeastern mass, lakeville getting hit pretty hard, middleboro all of these heavier bands that indicated with the yellows and orange

line right here just moved through martha's vineyard and nantucket. but there is some breaks behind it so it's we widespread scattered showers on again and off again you can expect at times there could be heavy rainfall and then that heavy rainfall moves on out so running through the time line you can see scattered showers possibility breaking a part a little bit into litter this evening and then into the overnight this heavier rainfall becomes more widespread. i think our wettest time through the wed tomorrow and then breaking apart some of those scattered showers late tomorrow afternoon into more of a scattered showers drizzly activity that will be the case for sunday as well. we have a chance for rain not only through tonight and tomorrow but really through the next couple of few days, even into tuesday a possibility for some of those scattered showers. but we need every drop we can get so how much can we squeeze out of this action? it looks looks by sunday evening
