he was living at his paints home in weymouth. 7news has learned that gardener's probation will now be supervised here in suffolk county. sources tell us he's moving after a rock was thrown through the window of his parents' house. gardener is on probation for the next 15 years. revealing a key clue that led officers to a sexual assault suspect in boston's south end. there's the man covering his face in court today. police believe he is the one who broke into an apartment tied up to women and attacked them, and when he left, they say he dropped the evidence officers needed. 7's john cuoco live in boston to explain.

these, prescription bottle for medication. it had the suspect's name on it and that's how police began tracking him. 52-year-old ronald brown walked into court wednesday accused of breaking into a south end apartment and attacking two women around 4:00 a.m. tuesday. the women told police they were bound and assaulted. quoted, if you scream, i will kel you. when they left, he took their cell phones and hand inned their passwords. >> no comment other than to say they are significant issues that will play out in court. >> reporter: police searched for brown after they say officers found a prescription medication bottle with his name on it in bedroom of one of the victims. court records show brown is a registered sex offender and has a history of sexual assaults, break-ins and other violent offenses. >> i definitely want to know

definitely want to look into security measures. police found him wearing clothing that fit the description given to officers by the victims and a backpack with the victims' belongings. he's charged with aggravated rape, kidnapping and burglary. >> i'm glad that the police worked so quickly and able to get this guy right away and get him off the streets but everyone else has to be careful. >> brown is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing. we're told more charges could be filed in ts live in the south end, john cuoco, 7news. a deadly drive in natick, police say a subaru collided with an acura last night. one of the cars then skidded off the road crashing into a tree. the driver, a 23-year-old man died in the crash. the driver of the acura and his passenger had only minor injuries. the cause of the crash is now under investigation. a fire breaks out at a hampton beach landmark. crews responding to the purple urge inbar and restaurant at the

wonder, tonight hank investigates. when roxanne tried to pick a daycare for her son, she knew the stakes could not be higher. >> the most important information of my life is the safety of my child. >> reporter: she'd seen the horrifying daycare stories and in north grove, an unsupervised child wanders throughout the door. in dorchester, a 2-year-old falls off the roof and dies. roxanne figured checking inspection records of massachusetts daycares would be easy but when she searched online for official inspection info, she found nothing. >> i feel like i was completely in the dark. >> in new hampshire, connecticut and maine, and massachusetts does not provide daycare inspection records online. experts say in these days of instant access, parents looking for daycare history should not be hitting information roadblocks. >> i think there's something broken in the system. >> reporter: how broken?
