kim khazei in the newsroom with more. >> anchor: these new e-mails were uncovered during the f.b.i.'s probe into anthony weiner and the anthony weiner case. federal law enforcement officials telling the "new york times" the new e-mails were found on seized electronic devices belonging to weiner and humaabadeen the investigation is investigating these alleged text message that's weiner sent to a 15-year-old girl in north carolina. now one federal official telling the times there are more than 1,000 new e-mails that may have to do with the clinton campaign and they have not commented yet but there you see clinton arriving in iowa today shortly after the new f.b.i. investigation came to light. f.b.i. director james comby informed congress of the new developments in this letter sent to congressional leaders today. comby says new e-mails have come to light recently prompting investigators to take another look at what sensitive government information traveled through the private e-mail

was broken into, $10,000 of jewelry missing and yellow siding on the house vandalized with the letters blm possibly standing for black lives matter. the wife of officer dalai, maria dalai, fabricated the entire story. that there was no break into the home, there was no larceny from the home. there was some spray paint that was done on the outside and that was done by mrs. daly as well. >> anchor: when word first spread of the alleged theft peop concerned saying the neighborhood is safe and they always took comfort in knowing a police officer and his police dog were nearby. my initial thought it was probably kids from the high school. >> anchor: for that reason bliss were leery. no one reported hearing the k-9 bark. obviously there was no need for the dog to be agitated because as far as he was concerned nothing really happened. investigators believe money problems led the officer's wife to lie. they say he didn't know anything about it. casting negative eye on the

him in worcester. he was questioned then released. as the investigation continues he could be facing several charges including kidnapping. >> anchor: and police and swat teams surround a motel in hampton, new hampshire where police say a man fired at officers leading to a standoff. the union leader reporting the man was later found dead inside a room at the marion motel. no officers were hurt and police did not return fire. >> anchor: fire damages several boats in medford the officials say two boats were dl in the boat yard and plastic covers there. six other vessels burned. no injuries were reported. we are following more news here today. the 7 people involved in an armed standoff in oregon cleared of all chars earlier this year the group drew national attention when the occupied a federal wildlife refuge but some leaders aren't accepting that verdict. sara french has details. >> reporter: tears of joy. we came to oregon to hardy county seeking justice.

>> reporter: ara jury found brothers amman and ryan bundy along with five other defendants not guilty on all counts connected to an armed standoff with federal agents back in february. it's overwhelming. it's all we hope for but didn't know we would get. the tile coming after an occupation at a wildlife refuge in oregon that lasted six weeks. a group of at least 19 occupiers said they were protesting for rangers rights and op prosecutors and in the trial argued the defendants kept federal employees from doing their jobs during their occupation of the refuge. some debts also faced felony charges of left of government property and possession of firearms at a federal facility. during leader amman bundy's arrest a rancher was killed during a show down with federal agents and police. amon bundy remains in police

this officer shows a cessna flying as low as 20 feet over the heads of at least four surfers which chase believes violates several faa regulation. aircraft that fly over water have to stay a minimum of 500 feet away from any person, vessel, structure. >> reporter: chase also says while regulating aircraft id is out of his jurisdiction he felt compelled to send a formal complaint to the faa. it's no different than a car driving erratically on the road and people call in when we see manner that's not normal. that looks dangerous. i think we need to do the same thing. we hugged the coastline for about 3/4 of a mile. senior lifeguard tyler grant was the fast acting camera man that seemed to catch the cessna flying eye level from his tower post. i think this was different because we were prepared to record it and we had time and staff to do it. >> reporter: when you freeze video you can see one, two, three, four surfers directly

nothing has brought back memories from seeing clothes she was wearing and where pieces of shrapnel pierced her body. at first i wasn't sure if i wanted to see my clothes and when i was there i decided i do want to see them. i had a ravens shirt on that i loved and i remember being so upset that i cut it and i had, i saw my jeans and i saw how veried and just torn apart they were and oddly enough my left shoe, i'm an amputee on my left side i it was very emotional. the f.b.i. held on to items as evidence then sent them off to be decontaminated. last month me was able to pick up her possessions. i charge my phone, it still had everything on there and i had 67 text messages and over ten voice mails from that day. she doesn't know what she is going to do with items but she

chelmsford, one and a half inches of rain here in the city of boston. just over an inch of rain and for the month of october boston has picked up five and a third inch of rain. a rain full surplus we haven't said that since february actually. this is our first month which will go into the books as above normal rain. in fact this month alone more rain than we had the entire summer. unreal. now wind advisory is the other issue with the storm system northwest winds gusting 25 to 35 miles per hour. occasionally even gutting over at guts of 46 miles per hour. worcester and boston gusting to 35 miles per hour. so overnight tonight the storm packs its boston and slowly peels away from southern new england, taking the rain and winds but already as we look over here there is another storm system in the great lake states this evening. this will not be a repeat of what we're dealing with now. but what it will do is bring another batch of clouds into new england tomorrow afternoon and there may be a few sprinkles. northern new england lookic like a better chance of rain showers

originally the grounds were owned by bridget bishop who is the first witch burned in the trials. so it supposedly is haunted. hopefully with a little help from bridget herself. the chef will be showing us how to make a delicious corn bread and crab suffered witch founder. it's referred to as graysol but during the month of october we like to highlight the fact it's called witch founder. first up in the pan melt some butter then saute diced onions and celery. just enough to up a little bit. you can add a little bit of cherry helps enhance the sweetness. then crumble up conbread. this will be the base for your stuffing. sometimes it's best to use-day-old corn bread. you will bring over our onion and celery mixture and butter. pour that in together. and just started mixing to the by hand. now fold in your crab meat. mix some parsley and that's your stuffing. very easy.

several people injured, everybody escaping though with their lives. this happened just before takeoff. >> anchor: one of the wings charred, melted too. ryan schulteis in our newsroom with the latest. >> anchor: american airlines flight 383 was going down the runway waiting for take off when faa officials say a tire blew out and debris shot right into the engine doing major damage. the engine did catch fire. thick, black smoke filling the air. you can see the massive plume in this video right here. fire crews race to the scene. there were 161 passengers on the airline confirming all passengers and crew were evacuated. 7 passengers and one flight attendant were transported to the hospital with some minor injuries. the runway at o'hare airport is now shut down. you can see the plane surrounded by just tons of fire trucks all of the evacuation slides deployed and a big burn mark visible on the side of the plane. things were so hot the wing actually melted. now once every got off that plane bus as arrived to bring all of the passengers and crew members back to the terminal. we'll continue to keep you
