stephanie ann lane. >> reporter: the doors were unlocked. >> reporter: investigators say the men tied up the victim with duct tape including her hands, feet and mouth. cut the phone line then rummaged through the house searching for a safe before bolting with $1,000 in cash. >> someone breaks into your home and binds you and holds you up at knife point looking for valuables. >> reporter: the suspects left the area in a black similar deville. the chief says she was' able to free herself and call 911. physically she wasn't hurt. >> it's horrifying. i can't believe that it even happens around here. >> reporter: state police assisting sterling police who believe the house was tarted but why they don't know. shaken resident remain hopeful suspects will be caught. >> hopefully they catch them. if they got the plate, all that. sure they abandoned the car.

get caught by the relatives before they get caught by authorities. >> reporter: now some late-breaking developments in the case from the police chief. we've just learned, roll the video right now. we've learned that sterling police investigators have located the black cadillac seville. 2004 black cadillac deville the suspect stole from the vick from time to time from her driveway. there was an all points bulletin put out vehicle. police located it of seven miles from the home invacation where all that went -- invasion, seven miles located in sterling a short time ago. it's now being processed by state police. the problem is the suspects were wearing gloves during this home invasion so they're having difficulty lifting fingerprints obviously from the scene and now, from that cad lick seville at well. but that part of this

spinal columns, visceral injuries as well. >> kim: one of the victims in critical condition. as investigators including agents from the national transportation safety board work together to piece how and why the deadly accident happened. they say something catastrophic must have happened on the bus. >> adam: scary scene on halloween night. a 4-year-old boy hit by a car in lowell while out the driver took off but police tracked her down. jennifer egan has more details. >> reporter: a 4-year-old boy out trick-or-treating hit crossing marshall avenue in lowell. >> oh, my goodness. what a horrible way to have halloween happen to you. >> reporter: judy rushed to the boy's side. she says he had a large gash on his head. >> it was right there on the side of his head. yeah. we didn't want to move him too much but enough to assess that he was wasn't

warm air, you are going to go through some weather all this not much. that is a warm front. the warm and cool fronts and the low pressure, they grab all the headlines. they generate all the weather. so as the front comes through, there will be a few clouds but were a warm front coming through not as colds tomorrow morning. these will be the temperatures during the morning commute. temperatures 40-46 and tomorrow it's a milder day. partly t temperatures tomorrow 63-68. above normal by about 10 degrees, boston at 65. lakeville at 63. north of town cape ann, merrimack valley, numbers to the 60s. fitchburg at 67. on the cape a southwest wind working against you a little bit. not quite as warm but milder than today. chatham at 60 and mashpee at 62. now on to thursday. partly sunny skies.
