cincinnati. it's been a while for the reds fans. time to come down south. >> al roker is standing by, he's in chicago. how did it feel to be there, buddy? >> we are at harry caray's. and the crowd has been here and we've been having a great time. and i got to tell you, it's the greatest world series game seven i've ever seen. it had a little bit of everything, even a rain delay, which i think is kind of something to do with this. which was pretty cool. and the other thing, by the ninth inning we had to go downstairs and get into the tunnel to get ready to go out on the field. so i got to see something that -- at first i wasn't sure what i was witnessing. but we were watching these guys were these carts that had boxes on them. turns out they were boxes of

but they kept going from locker room to locker room as the -- as the lead changed. back, forth, back, forth. it was so close. it was incredible. then of course, chicago finally pulls it out and i got to tell you, even though the game was played in cleveland, i think half the people in the stands were from chicago. >> hey! >> you see that final out and the crowd could goes nuts. and at bill murray. he's just -- he was there. he has been such a long-time cubs fan. dancing in the stands, having a great time. and then of course theo ebbstps, bill and theo were in the clubhouse afterwards celebrating with champagne. it was spectacular. i got to go in to the locker room.

as a chicago cub. and, boy, what a first year to have. it was -- in fact, i ran into his wife, julianna. all of a sudden she -- during the rain delay, guys, they had all come out away from the field. he goes out, she runs back in. she runs in to me. she says i got to get back out there. i've got to see him. he is at bat. he hits that game-winning hit and the rest is it was perhaps -- >> yeah! woo! >> like i said, make no bones about it, i'm a cleveland indians fan. i lifved in cleveland for five years. everybody that took part in that game had something to be proud of. whatever team won, nobody was going to complain about it. but, look. if you're going to lose to a team, you want to lose to the chicago cubs. a team with destiny. it was a spectacular night. >> woo!
