it happened saturday afternoon, but the search continues this morning. our mike desumma joins us now from the newsroom with more details. mike. allie, michal investigators say at this hour they are continuing to look into what caused the boat to go under. according to witnesses that attempted a rescue -- one man who was onboard couldn't stay above the surface. they said they were able to get a second passenger into their boat -- but cpr attempts did not work. they're still searching for the other passenger. according to the d-n-r the boat went down on the lake in third water cove near lake view landing. responders headed out to that area shortly before 3 p-m saturday. state officials say they are looking to see if any wind advisories were posted for the lake at that time. a recovery effort is also underway to try to find the second man who went under the water. according to the d-n-r neither passenger was wearing a life jacket. we'll of course bring you more details on this story as they become available. another developing story, the investigation continues into a shooting at columbiana
