is whether the workers are what is a priority and what is not. i'm sam ford, abc7 news. maureen: thank you. tonight breaking news in the d.c. mansion murders. grand jury indicted wint on 20 felony charges including first-degree murder, kidnapping, extortion and arson. savvas savopoulos, his wife amy, the son phillip and the housekeeper were brutally murdered in their northwest d.c. home. in may of 2015. wint has been in custody since the arrest a week after the crime. he will be arraigned on friday. leon: there is a group of people that viciously attacked a u.s. marine outside mcdonald's restaurant. stephen tschida live in the newsroom. actually we will get to that in a bit. actually, there he is. he is standing by. you have the

attack here at the mcdonald's? >> that is right. we broke the story and we are still on it now. tonight a possible piece of evidence that the d.c. police may not release evidence. we are talking about the surveillance video. 30-year-old var quaz is a did he believe rated veteran of the war in iraq and -- decorated veteran of the war in iraq. he was eating on a mcdonald's on "e" street in d.c. a group of young people surrounded him and started to yell about black laves matter. he sensed trouble and ignored them. when he left he was attack and viciously beaten. mcdonald's turned over the video to the police. and he fears the attackers will strike again. this is what chief said about the video today. >> if there is evidence, we have to

leon: update on a dog that was electrocuted northeast washington. at first they thought it was isolated unit doesn't but neighbors are complaining about shocks to their pets in the same area. panel kelly says she was walking her german shepherd when the dog seized up, and was unable to move. >> i thought my dog broke

leg. fy picked her up and moved her, she might be alive. leon: electrician checked out the scene and said the live wire underneath the cement is what caused the dog to die. the problem isn't isn't fixed. she won't let herself dog die in vain and she plans to take it the body to the agriculture department and get an autopsy. we have a happy ending here for a dog that was rescued from the ice. the fire and the rescue teams arrived in under ten minutes. they found the dog struggling but they were able to pull the dog to safety. maureen: if you think this winter has been bad, you are right. the district is the only city east of denver so far achievedded severe winter label. the winter
