an operating levy on the ballot since 1989. it will be used to create a three month cash reserve. it will cost about $268 a year. opponents of the tax says the numbers just don't add up. two different financial forecasts were done for the district, one in october of 2015 and the other by an independent company in december of 2015. the second showing for a need for cash. >> there's other ways of getting money from us in the community, and i just feel like they were trying to sneak it in on the march up ballot, also, when there's not as many voters out.

plus our local candidates and good morning cincinnati. police are looking for the suspect in a recent murder. someone shot and killed 21-year-old just before 6:00 last night. police found him near children's hospital outside of a mini market that's closed now. no word on a motive or even a possible suspect. >> a school bus driver came across a body. the driver spotted the body near manchester just before 7:00 this morning. the coroner was called to the scene and right now investigators believe that it is a possible overdose of heroin and fentanyl, they are not investigating this as a homicide. a driver has died three weeks after police say he caused a head-on crash. police say he was driving eastbound back in february when he lost control, crossed the

vehicle going in the other direction. they say impairment may have been a factor. the other driver was also hurt in the crash. >> what caused a balcony on a local building to collapse. still up in the air. it happened about noon yesterday. the building is at the corner of ludlow and middleton. a third floor balcony fell and hit the two balconies before it. building inspectors are still trying to figure out what happened. we'll hear from people who were in the building when it fell apart ahead today on local 12 news at 5:00. today is national pi day. no, not the kind you eat. celebrated on march 14th. because this date mimics the first three digits of the

northwestern part of hamilton county, back up into fayette, union, franklin. nothing strong, nothing severe. just pockets of heavy rain interrupting the lunch hour. with individual clusters of rain moving to the north, northeast, we have some dry time this afternoon. this area will move in. the larger disturbance giving us these showers and storms to the east. there will be some time where we break out into filtered sun. as the disturbance closes back in on the tri-state, we'll see more rain and thunderstorms develop later on this afternoon. highs today we'll center in the mid to upper 60s. don't forget between now and the first, you can track it on the weather authority app. search for wkrc in the app store and google play.

rain and isolated thunderstorms will be moving through the tri-state this afternoon. showers will move to the east of the tri-state early this evening and we have a threat for not just thunderstorms, but possibly some stronger storms late tomorrow and tomorrow night. outside chance that they turn strong. pollen count is moderate and the mold count is moderate. we'll take 63 now in cincinnati up to about 4 degrees. the disturb's that's creating she's showers and thunderstorms is positioned over southern indiana and it moves our way and it moves into an atmosphere that will destabilize some. bank on rain and individual thunderstorms to floated through the tri-state this afternoon. notice here on the fork ecast model, rain and isolated storms. the coverage will come down
