expected to be in court. roz lynn thompson and jonathan goodsen face several charges. police say they were caught on camera robbing galloway's country store on january 15th. surveillance video shows a masked man holding a gun to the clerk's head as he empties the damage reshster. another man takes items from the underneath the counter. goodsen and thompson remain in the haywood county jail. >> holly: a cashers man is killed in his home are confident investigators will make an arrest. home. he was a wonderful family man who loved the outdoors and was committed to faith. they hope an arrest will bring closure. >> just want to have justice brought to our family and for tim, because it's what he deserves. >> he was my brother-in-law by marriage, but to me he was a brother. >> holly: jackson county deputies have been tracking all leads and have not named any suspects. >> jay: a hendersonville man

after deputies say he got into a shootout with a homeowner. according to the sheriff offense office, the homeowner found joshua quiz inberry at his house ( ). the two exchanged gun fire and deputies say quiz enberry ran away. he remains out on bond of $75,000. >> holly: suspects are on the run and deputies can use your help finding them. we are teaming up with the transylvania county there was offense office, we have the chief deputy, eddy gunther, thank you for coming in. >> thank you. this morning we are looking for james mills, a 26 yeerls white made, five foot 9, 155 pounds, he has blond hair and hazel eyes. he is wanted for failure to pay child support. we also have decarlos lynch, a 36 year-old plaque male, six foot 2, 255-pound, he has black hair and brown eyes. he has two orders for arrest for failure to pay child support and one order for arrest for assault on a female. and we have william gentry, who was a 56 year-old while meat.

united community bank. >> holly: police in hickory say a homeowner will not be charged after he fired shots at an intruder. attorney pitt said he heard a knock on the front door and because it was late he didn't answer it. a short time later the 71 year-old said someone smashed through a sliding glass door, while he was watching t.v. in his bed. >> i'm disabled. someone kicked the door in, i have to do something. so he came in the door and standing over there and he looked and i. [inaudible] >> holly: pitt said he fired the gun three times striking the man in the chest. police say the man is in stable condition. >> jay: firefighters investigate the cause of a house fire in asheville that started in the attic of a home on beavery road. when firefighters arrived at the scene they saw flames coming from both end of the attic. two adults were still inside when the fire broke out. both got out safely along with their pet. >> when the fire gets in the attic a lot of times it can spread across the attic and that's what we are fighting to

and so, thankfully, this one went pretty well as far as that concern and we had no injuries, which is the best result. >> jay: the fire was confined to the attic. >> holly: the asheville's symphony conductor and director will leave in two years. daniel myer is in his 11th year here and enhe will leave when his contract runs out in the 2017/2018 season. the symphony will bring in guest conductors with a goal of having a new conductor on board by 2019. police in california say a man ran over a jogger on purpose. >> jay: this is horrifying. that man is now facing murder charges. investigators say the driver hit the jogger, carried him on the hood of his car, and then smashed through a backyard wall. the homeowner says his family was asleep when it all happened and when they came outside, they were all in shock. >> the driver was standing there.

said someone dead. >> jay: the sheriff offense department in that area says the driver was first arrested for vehicular manslaughter but upgraded the charges after interviewing driver. >> holly: a missouri police officer and a suspect are recovering following a confrontation. police say the suspect crashed a car into two homes. when the police officer responded to the scene, he tried to approach the driver. the suspect reportedly tried to run. the officer over with the car. the officer then fired at the suspect. both men are being treated for injuries at the hospital. >> jay: an 18 year-old is must ki this in south florida accused of posing as a doctor. the young man was so successful at it, he was running his own medical clinic in west palm beach. now, malachi held a grand opening and investigators arrested him for operating without license. >> holly: we are giving away a "early bird gets the win" giveaway. >> jay: we are giving away a

the break. now, in high definition, this is your news 13 skywatch forecast. >> ingrid: welcome back, everyone. this is live pick structure of i-240 at the jeff bowen bridge. looks like there are a lot more cars out there than we saw an hour ago. the roads are damp but no freezing so no issues for wintry weather. we have got some issues in or then mountains. we saw some of the light snow, really above 3500 feet, reports of anywhere from a half inch to 1 1/2 to 2" in some of the higher peaks. so, some of that is still on the ground. it could mean slick conditions this morning. but the rest of us, you can see we stayed nice and dry, 35 degrees at unca. leicester carpet sales news 13 skycam network, the roads are still damp because we did see that rain mainly before midnight, haven't really seen anything since. and, of course, it did fall as liquid precipitation in asheville. so pretty good news for us this morning. greenville camera showing 41 degrees and there is a light

you can see that the flags in the distance are moving around for us. so, yesterday, with the rain that we picked up, almost an inch surplus for the year. let's talk temperatures, because things are going to improve. 51 is the normal high temperature for this time of year. this is the box to show how cold we have been and how cold. so 34 since midnight, but right now it's 35 in asheville. 35 in forest city. freezing in morganton. newland and boone, so some of these isolated zones hovering around freezing. please use caution. there is still a chance for some slick roadways out there. but, the majority of us looking pretty good today. 38 in greer, 40 in anderson and 43 in greenwood. visibility also an issue especially up towards morganton. we are now below a half mile visibility. three miles in forest city. back here in asheville, some patchy fog cannot be ruled out and we are down to 4 in andrews. so give yourself a couple extra moments in those areas.

officials said there is no other choice. parents hope the vocal opposition leads to something good. >> maybe we push on and we do something bigger with this? and make it so it's not for nothing, you know? maybe the next little school in the next little town does not get closed. >> jay: the local vote must be certified by state school officials. parents say they will continue to fight their battle in raleigh. >> holly: the public got one last chance to review a street projecec in asheville. the goal of the livivgston street and depot street area is make it safer and easier to use for bicyclists and transit uses. the community requested a lot of changes back in september and last night the city showed the residents their plans. >> there were people that wanted parking in certain areas and we were also to get a bike lane all the way from one end to the other, that was a big issue for some of the biking communini. and then also, we had a three-way stop out in the end. >> holly: because of a grant deadline, the city fast tracked the project.
