3 3 a columbia fire captain has been arrested after being accused of inappropriately touching a co-worker. he's 38 year old jeffrey rish.rish is accused of inappropriately touching a male firefighter back on october 6 while working on blume court.he is now out on a 5-thousand dollar pr bond.rish is a 16 year veteran of the department and has been placed on investigatory suspension pending the outcome of his charges. 3 new numbers out from sled show violent crime rates are down in our state. the rate of violent crime dropped more than 12 percent... while the rate of property crime was down almost 6 percent in our state from 2012 to 2013. however... assaults on law enforcement officers increased.
