around the world, good from the station that is on your side, you are watching news 19 at 7:00 p.m. >> good evening now. we are beginning on this tuesesy with led levels in lexington county. dhec required testing of walter at subdivisions -- joyce koh has details. >> reporter: one of the companies that tested customer's water was carolina water service. out of the 52 subdivision they found 7 homes with elevated levels of led after going back and retesting the results came back below the epa action level. although this is common in older homes with copper pipes, it is good practice for

quarry in the area. major concerns on how it would effect the water, air and health however attorneys for dhec says residents had no specific data showing it would have a negative impack on their lives and the naacp -- impact on their lives and the naacp questioned the impact. >> we support the belief that the right of the people in fairfield county, especially in middle 6, the rights will be infringed on. the wet lands will not be appropriately controlled and we feel that the future of our children will be at stake and we feel also that the traffic will be very, very dangerous in that area. especially on highway 34. >> dhec attorneys did not wish to offer a comment. the hearing continues in the at dhec headquarters.

investigators more time analyze the evidence. slayingser out on bond -- slager is out on band. man is accused of impersonating an officer. authorities say he was arrested after a deputy saw him in an usc with blue flashing light at a -- suv with blue flashing lights at a gas station. he identified himself as a sled officer. the deputy followed. he said he was a sled officer and then said he was a private security officer. he has been charged with impersonating an officer. more low income moms will get help to make sure their possible. the state is expanding a program that helps women who are pregnant and new moms. here is robert k, kittle. >> reporter: -- robert kittle.
