we are looking at a lot of sunshine today with 62 degrees and light winds out of the north-northwest. with the cold front passing through, a lot of sunshine tomorrow and a little cooler with a high of 59. the roads are dry and as we get ready to head out, take a look at i-26 between st. andrews and penny grove road, not much in and out of columbia. little slowdown heading west on augusta road, about 23 miles an hour but no accidents there. heading into downtown, about 15 minute commute. we'll take a look at the seven- day forecast and weekend forecast ahead in a few

another chilly start in the midlands. we are all in the 30s and 40s here, , camden with 37 degrees. here in columbia, 42 degrees and very clear skies for the most part. winds out of the west at 9 miles an hour, making it feel like 37 degrees. we have a cold front over the central midlands and clear skies to the north and west of here. the clouds won't stick around. later this morning 48 degrees by 9:00, then more sunshine, 55 by 11:00, by 1:00 58 degrees. when the kids get out of school today, it will be mostly sunny school. all the highs today will generally be in the lower 50s,

the terrorist attack carried out in san bernardino. the fbi is hoping a locked iphone can provide some answers and now they may get them. this ruling tuesday ordered apple to disable the security feature in the phone that automatically erases all data if an incorrect pass code is entered ten times. >> the federal judge looked at it and as it was in the best interest of safety, they are looking at the circumstances saying, apple, help the fbi out. >> once apple disabled the feature, the fbi plans to use computers to break the pass code without running the risk of data loss. agents hope it will help them figure out how the targets were
