3 3 the first in the south republican primary is tomorrow and the gop candidates are doing one last push for votes by traveling across the state jeb bush will hold met and greets today with the former first lady barbara bush in spartanburg and greenville. at 9am he'll be at the wade restuarant and then at the the kroc community center at noon. tonight bush will head to central for a rally at the d- w daniel high school..

will be in columbia at 10am for a town hall. that's being held at the hall at senate's end located on senate street. then he'll head to conway for a horry county town hall at the horry georgetown techinal college. 3 marco rubio has a busy day today with campaign events. he'll be in columbia first for a town hall at 9 am at the marriott hotel on hampton street. rubio will then head to pawley's island followed by hilton head .in the afternoon he'll be in north charleston for a rally and then will head to the upstate for a rally at in clemson at the madren conference center pavillion. that's taking place at 7:30 tonight. 3 there's also word that an illinois judge will hear testimony today on whether cruz is eligible to run for president.cruz was born in canada....and his mother is an american citizen.the eligibility question has been issue in the campaign.so far there's no comment from cruz. 3 jeb bush is putting a lot on the line in south

was helpful in the prosecution of former sheriff jimmy metts. 3 lexington county councilman bobby keisler is inviting the community to a join him at the park to pray for the deputies hurt in the car accident wednesday night. the prayer ceremony will be held tonight at 6:30 at the park on nazareth road in red bank. 3 tonight the second annual eliza bowl fundraiser will celebrate 3 million dollars raised. the eliza bowl raises funds for the cure sanfilippo foundation. this year's event will be at leaside in columbia at six thirty. there will be food, entertainment and a silent auction. tickets are available for 50 dollars a person. 3 this morning newberry college will host its three on three basketball tournament over 100 athletes will participate in the event to benefit special olympics.first tipoff will begin in eleazer arena on college street at ten thirty a-m.the event is free and open to the public.

3 also happening today..the usc baseball season begins. the gamecocks host albany for a three-game series. first pitch today is 4 p.m. at founders park with saturday game at 2 p.m. and sunday series finale at 1:30. 3 the usc women's basketball team managed to lock down the s-e-c regular season title over georgia last night. a strong defensive effort pushed usc to a 61 to 51 win. the team is now a a perfect 13-0 in sec play and moved to 25-1 overall. sports director reggie anderson will have all the highlights coming up a little later. the gamecocks will be back in action monday night when they are on the road against alabama. tip off is set for 7pm. 3 meanwhile, the usc men's basketball team will be looking for a win tomorrow as they host florida to another sellout crowd. this will be the lone meeting between the two squads this regular season. game time is set for

3 in richland county...the owner of estate sales guys has been arrested for breach of trust.he's 58 year old tony hendon investigators say hendon did not pay people who entrusted him to sell valuables.it happened on at least two occasions in november of 2014 and december of 2014.they say he had agreed to sell approximated 94-thousand dollars worth of belongings and never paid the two victims or returned the items.hendon is still under investigation and deputies say he could face more charges. 3 also out of richland county....the search continues this morning for a man wanted

december.deputies say on december 26....19 year old yakiem breeland shot a man at the circle k gas station in the 4300 block of hardscrabble road.the victim is out of the hospital and recovering. if you know where breeland is ....you're asked to call crimestoppers at 1-triple- crime-sc. 3 a richland county man is suing to block the resettlement of refugees in south carolina.the lawsuit was brought by walter bilbro.... who warns resettling refugees brings the potential for terrorism or violent crime.the suit names governor haley...d-s-s and two nonprofits that help resettle refugees.the governor has asked no syrian refugees be resettled before making sure they have no ties to terror groups.lutheran services carolinas says the agency has resettled two o refugees and has not been told more are coming. dss is reviewing the lawsuit.
