3 3 the restaurant owner accused of murering his wife''s lover on valentine's day will have a bond court hearing today. 49-year-old greg leon is charged with murder in the death of arturo bravo.it all happened sunday night at the park and ride on riverchase way in lexington county. according to the warrant for his arrest...leon opened the door of a bravo's vehicle then shot and killed the man. investigators say he also attempted to murder his wife who was also in the car...but the bullets missed her.he's currently at at the lexington county jail.2 year's ago leon was in involved in the public corruption investigation in lexington county. he got probation and a fine, but no jail time, because prosecutors said he was helpful in the jimmy metts. 3 a lexington county deputy is recovering in the hospital this morning after being in a car accident with two other deputies. it happened on platt springs road late wednesday night. news 19 janae frazier has the latest. 3 *nats of cars* cars zoom by debris on platt springs road residents walk by orange

lexington county deputy cars took place karen brown/ resident2:13 we were just getting ready for bed and just heard a lot of sirens, a lot of them so we knew something was happening.- *dissolve///nats of sirens** two deputies and a reserve deputy were responding to a call of a burglary around 9 wednesday night....when they crashed into each other on platt springs road near old orangeburg road. george morton: h it was terrible." george morton lives nearby and heard a huge bang wednesday night and walked to the scene filled with blue lights george morton: i seen this one cop car squished in in the front, airbags exploded every where, debris all over the highway, swung all the way up to the red light up here and i walked down to see the other car, and that about what happened, i mean it was just terrible. my first thoughts was, i sure hope the guys were doing alright, i hope they didn get hurt bad.all three were taken to the hospital with non-life- threatening injuries. two have been released and one is still recovering in the hospital and is expected to recover morton:"i was praying for them all the way." captain adam myrick of the lexington county sheriff's office says specific details are being withheld as state highway patrol conducts their investigation adam myrick: "sometimes it a risky these officers last night found that out firsthand 17:30 we e just so glad that they e doing well, recuperating on their way to recovery. 17:37

3 3 lexington county councilman bobby keisler is inviting the community to a join him at the park to pray for the deputies hurt in the car accident wednesday night. the prayer ceremony will be held tonight at 6:30 at the park on nazareth road in red bank. 3 3 a plan to fix south carolina roads ... is being "blocked" in the state senate. beaufort senator tom davis ... is filibustering the bill again. lawmakers ended the year last june the same way. the plan would raise the gas tax by 12-cents a gallon ... over three years ... to raise more money for roads. but senator davis says there's no need for a tax increase. 3 "we can take care of our roads

">... for the sumter fire department... more than 300 other rescues followed... in a 72 hour period... they might not have been quite as harrowing... but just as important. leuitenent jeffrey shirley recounts how the community came together to help them. "we were taking people out of their houses and putting them into dump trucks to take them to the dot building and from there they were taken to the high school. " one incident inparticular stood out to him. "dot brought a big back hoe a four wheel steer back hoe and he brought it in there and we wrapped the lady up. she was in her late 80's we wrapped her up in blankets and put her in the bucket and drove her the three blocks to the dot building and put her in a van. " and in the covington area... like all over the county... captain kevin ray says they had the help of borrowed remove people from sumter health and rehab. "we had almost 80 people that we had to move and all of those were wheel chair and bed ridden. " ken riggs thought his family was safe.. until a local dam suddenly gave way... " "my biggest fear was that the foundation was going to give away and that the foundation was going to collapse on us.
