tom: the ski conditions continue to improve at mountains across new hampshire. as of today loon mountain has eleven trails open. the mountain opened last wednesday and has been trying to open trails as quickly as possible. over the past few days the weather has been cold enough to make snow. they hope to have even more terrain ready to go and open by the weekend.

. things even better. a little bit of freezing rain in parts of northern and central new hampshire. we did see a little bit of sun early today at the coast. before clouds came in and s, only rising near 32 degrees during the late morning in early afternoon when a band of rain raced on through. part of it did race into portions of new hampshire. the icy threat does continue for a few more hours north and west of concord before he goes to primarily all rain. then it is a wet wednesday, up to an inch and spots between later tonight and tomorrow night but it will change over to snow on thursday and after that it quite' s down for several days. here'

advisory extended until 10:00. all of the upper valley and areas to the west of concord. temperatures are right near 32 degrees in a few spots so any untreated surface could be a little bit slick. the greatest concern should be the northeastern part of the lakes region and into the great north woods over the next few hours as temperatures there are right near 32. some mixing cannot be ruled out, temperatures right around 31 or 32 degrees and beginning to warm up a little bit in some of the higher terrain with readings -- in the mid-30' s. after this moves through, more wet weather down to the south and west has to move in. by then temperature should be well above using state wide. plymouth down to just northwest of concord right around that magic 32 degrees and it will
