erin: now at noon, threats of violence at nashua schools. the latest on the investigation that' s now making national headlines. three suspects in a violent home invasion face a judge. the terrifying crime they' re accused of. kevin: starting the week with two systems approaching, and the possibility of record warmth. erin: and the field of republican candidates is smaller today. lindsey graham' s announcement to end his bid for the white house. >> no one covers new hampshire like we do. now, wmur news 9 at noon . erin: happening now and you, the continuing investigations into a threat that is close all schools in one of the states largest cities. good afternoon. i am erin fehlau. nashua officials announced that every school in the district would be closed today. want to get the latest from heather hamel. she is in a nashua. heather: moments ago, captain from the nashua police department did come out and say that they are still investigating this threat. they will not say whether or not they are determine who is responsible. they will -- they said there will be a joint is conference that will include the fbi at 4:00 and that is when we will be getting an update. the threat came in the form of an e-mail, the superintendent getting it on sunday morning. police are not saying specifics about what it said but superintendent said it was very detailed and high schools appeared to be the target. officials on mr. getting and

threat, or who may be responsible. in light of recent events that have gone on because a country and with violence as a possibility, the superintendent didn' t want to take any chances. rather than just closing down the two high schools in a nashua, he determined it was safest for all students to stay home and 2 private schools were also closed. >> we made the decision last night to err on the side of caution based on the fact that it was a specific threat to both our high schools. and today is the specific date that the action would occur, along with the means for how students would be harmed. heather: now, also, staff over at hudson high school, right next door. nashua, they have also asked other staff to look at their e-mails to see if there are any threats there. the superintendent says no threats were found but he, too, has asked for an increased

state police were notified of a massachusetts police pursuit on i-95 that was headed into new hampshire. troopers deployed spike strips to stop the 1999 ford explorer, but it continued for another three quarters of a mile before hitting the center median and a guardrail. 35-year-old jeffrey hiltz of danvers, massachusetts, was pronounced dead at the scene. it' s unclear why he was fleeing from police. right now the assessment and cleanup is underway after a water main rate in and chester created a huge sinkhole at a shopping plaza on south willow street. wmur' s amy coveno is live outside the starbucks that is closed today along with 9 other businesses. when is the water going to get turned back on, amy? situation at the south willow plaza. on by the end of the day today year will be open until noon

the drive-through window. they started pumping out the water from this massive sinkhole. it is probably a six-foot pole here. as you said, nine businesses are without water. the sinkhole is noticed 5:00 this morning by the crew in starbucks. a police cruiser actually fell into the sinkhole in the drive-through lane. the city waterworks department telling news 9 they were notified and came and shut the water supply off between 7:00 and 8:00 this morning but since the issues on private property, the city does not get involved with the repair. of state and was given a list of contractors he could call to get the problem fixed. the water system and the pipe going into this leg of the linking for months before it eroded the dirt and the sand in the gravel around the pipe. that could take days before you

people who police say were involved in a home invasion in franklin just faced a judge. courthouse. person was involved as well, right? reporter: -- ray: that' may have been involved in driving the stolen pickup truck at the time of the invasion. they don' t have a name or identity, all they can say is the man is believed to be in his 40' s. three people were arraigned at circuit court in franklin. two are each charged with five felonies including receiving stolen property and armed robbery, while a 19-year-old is charged with receiving stolen property and conspiracy to

according to court paperwork and what was set in our, the three allegedly conspired to rob a victim who was staying overnight at an apartment there in claims court here in franklin. one of them allegedly pretended to be interested in the victim. she went into the apartment and may have let the other two in. when they person with shotguns, the victim fled, fearing for his safety. >> entered at this residence, allegedly did so armed with shotguns. the victim in this matter allegedly jumped off the deck of the second-story residence to flee these individuals, and in so doing, sustained a pretty serious injury. ray: the victim was located at a nearby street, and the homework with their actually called police reporting a suspicious
