now, news 9 at noon. erin: a nashua man is under arrest this noon, after police say he crashed his jeep into a church. good afternoon, i' m erin fehleau. the crash caused significant damage to the church' s community room. as you can see. hudson police suspect that the driver, 47-year-old eddy garcia had been drinking, and garcia was arrested. wmur' s ray brewer spoke to parishioners who were trying to assess the damage, and has the story new at noon. ray: this is only a 20 member church. they just renovated this hall. >> we' re going to need some help. ray: this was the scene at the hudson community church. 47-year-old eddy garcia crashed his jeep through the window around 5:00 this morning. that prayer was answered. garcia was arrested and charged with suspicion of driving while

they are worried about building being exposed to the elements. despite the damage, they feel fortunate. if this would have happened a few hours later, there would have been people by that window. erin: new details now about a deadly pedestrian accident in manchester last week. police have identified the victim as 26-year-old katerina simmons and say she was walking on west auburn street around 8:45 thursday night when she was hit. the driver, 27-year-old ruben rosario, was not injured. simmons died the next day. it was a tricky commute for some granite staters this morning. state police responded to five separate crashes on the general sullivan bridge, tying up traffic from dover to newington. investigators say sun glare was partially to blame for all of the crashes. no one was seriously injured. a man has been arraigned this morning after concord police say he crashed into a car and fought with officers as they tried to

authorities say the call originally came in as aggressive panhandling, and as they were heading to the scene, the suspect, 21-year-old cameron meehan took off, hitting several curbs and ramming a bystander' s car. officers say once they caught up to meehan, they tased him, but he continued to disobey orders. he faces several charges, including driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest. new this noon, a judge has issued a ruling on a mountain of motions in the case of a gorham man accused of kidnapping and assaulting a north conway teenager in 2014. those motions were filed by nathaniel kibby' s defense and sought to suppress certain evidence and get dozens of charges thrown out. his trial is scheduled to begin wmur' s amy coveno is live in the newsroom with the new details. amy: records response to the motions is 45 pages long. he lost most of his bits to suppress 55 pieces of evidence
