in advance of that, clear sailing. that means the morning commute and travel during the lunchtime hour, even 1:30, should be just fine. what about the timeline for the rest of new hampshire and how much snow to expect before it moves out? we will look at all of that straight ahead. shelley: a neighborhood in salem is dealing with another round of vandalism. residents along norwood road woke to find their houses and mailboxes spray painted. many of these same victims were also hit in august. as wmur' s andy hershberger tells us why police think the same people are likely behind both incidents. andy: some of the graffiti seems to almost be taunting some of these residents who have been targeted by vandals for the second time in the last few months. >> same mailbox, hit again. andy: charlene morgano' s mailbox was spray painted in august when vandals went through this

road. this morning she found this message. >> really discouraging because 23 years in the neighborhood this year is the first time anything happened and it' s just not fair for the people that live here and the kids that are growing up. andy: salem police say about a dozen houses, cars and mailboxes were hit some time between sunday night and early monday morning. many of those victimized were also tagged in august like eric demers who had graffiti written on his mailbox and his garage door. >> it' s a little disappointing to see kids doing this stuff. i would never have done that when i was a kid and never have so it' s a little disappointing seeing other kids do that type of thing so it' s just disappointing. andy police say it' s possible : whoever is responsible for this lives in this general area. and while they don' t think anyone is in any danger, they are urging people to keep their eyes open. >> keep vigilant.

check your outside property. if you see anything suspicious in your neighborhood give us a call. >> it' s discouraging. it' s frustrating. i leave early in the morning and i come home at night to this and it' s not right. andy: a $1000 reward has been offered in this case. anyone who may have information about it is asked to call the salem police department. in salem, andy hershberger. wmur news 9. tom: the state medical examiner says there were 385 drug-related deaths last year and 45 cases are still pending toxicology results. the vast majority of those deaths came from some type of opiate or opioid that includes heroin and fentanyl. 72% of all opiate and opioid deaths involved fentanyl either alone, combined with heroin, or combined with some other drug. the medical examiner still projects the total drug deaths for last year to be 400. shelley: the controversial northern pass project is now facing a new round of public meetings.
