valley. 293, we're startology see the fog settle in. making your way down through the mill yard. everything looks good right now out along the seacoast in both directions. from the traffic network, i'm deb davidson for 95.7 wzid. sean: new on -- ken, they have seized a major shipment of drugs coming into the state. erin: two people are facing charges. they found more than drugs. ra park and ride near exit 20 in tilton where the bust was made. good morning, ray. ray: good morning. police telling us that is where they watched the two vehicles meet. they found evidence of drugs in one of the cars. this is happening monday even here in tilton. they stopped the car for having a false inspection sticker. after searching the vehicle, investigators say they found more than 750 grams of heroin.

they found a large bag of crystal meth. it was clear that both drugs were going to be sold in the area. now officers also found a lot of cash, evidence of drug sales, and a handgun reported stolen out of boston. police telling us that now they are planning to seek federal drugs and weapons charges against the two people involved. one of them is from penacook, the other from nashua. reporting live in tilton, ray brewer, wmur news 9. of helping her grandson sell drugs behind bars. police say 23-year-old dylan malis coo was in jail for drug violations. they listened to a call he made to his grandmother where he sold her to get drugs and sell to one person. they found drugs in her home. she's now free on bail.

drug supply in new hampshire are now expanding. the state is getting $1.5 million to expand operation granite hammer. a total of 18 law enforcement agencies will share the money. some of it will be used to increase area patrols on the highways. sean: take a picture of your filled out ballot. the federal appeals court says new hampshire's ban on the ballot selfies is unconstitutional. back in 2014, state lawmakers marked ballots in an effort to crack down on potential voter fraud. the law was struck down a year ago. but the state appealed. in yesterday's ruling, the federal court says the ban is a violation of free speech. while voter coercion is a compelling interest, the state did not do enough. >> i took a picture ofy ballot and posted it on twitter and on my facebook stage for state

another incremental infringement on our constitutional rights. sean: the state has not yet issue add response to the ruling. the decision applies to the entire jurisdiction of the first circuit court of appeals. ballot selfies are allowed in maine, massachusetts, rhode island, and puerto rico. erin: two people are facing charges in connection with the disappearance of their three children. 33-year-old bobby joe and 35-year-old michael mcmaster are charged with inter the couple does not have legal custody of the children who had been missing a week before they were located. the kids are in good health. they with back with their legal guardians this morning. salem police are considering whether to file charges against a mother after her 2-year-old daughter was run over. we told you about the accident on south policy street yesterday morning. police say the mother let her 7-year-old daughter start the car tuesday evening, but the

over her 2-year-old sister's legs causing broken bones and other injuries. sean: the u.s. marshal service joint fugitive task force is now joining the search for a wanted murder. 23-year-old billy maldoado was wanted for the shooting death of jonathan vazquez ojeda. his last is manchester, but he has strong ties to springfield, massachusetts. a man is accused of driving 146 miles per hour in central maine. the state trooper that arrested 18-year-old tyler bar row says he has never clocked someone going that fast. the distance he covered in two minutes should have taken him 12. erin: police are considering charges against the vermont man who was rescued after spending a week adrift at sea.

sean: police say a teenager in south carolina killed his father at home before opening fire outside of an elementary school, wounding two studentses and a teacher yesterday. a volunteer firefighter was able to stop the teen before he got inside. neither his name nor exact age have been released. officials say he was home schooled. police say the boy did call his grandmother crying just minutes before shots were fired at the school.

penguin that was stole front an aquarium and released into the wild. two men have admitted to breaking in and taking an african penguin named buddy and dropped him off at the beach. buddy was born in captivity and never been in the ocean. they fear he will die within the next couple of weeks if they don't find him. sean: it costs more to put a child in full-time day care than that's according to a new report from the think tank new america. the report says on average it costs under $9,600 a year to send children up to age four to full-time day care. by comparison, the average cost of in-state college tuition is $9,400 a year. erin: wow. aetna is getting creative trying to get people to get more active. the company is planning

they will subsidize the cost for customers who want to buy an apple watch. employers who use aetna will be able to decide whether or not they want to offer this program. volkswagen is jumping into the electric car business as the automaker tries to recover. the company just unveiled the new concept car called the i.d. designers say it will cost less than a tesla model 3 or chevy volt. it won't be available until more than 30 fully electric vehicle designed by 2025. sean: that looks like the robot from "wall-e." fall has arrived. that means fair season. the 140th annual fairfield starts today and is the oldest family fair. it features things like animal shows, demolition derby, a pig scramble, circus, music, and plenty of food and rides as well.

system. it is slowly traveling east. eventually we start to get in not necessarily on the three to six inches of rain, but some scattered shower activity. wind again today out of the northeast. temperatures starting in the upper 30's and some of the sheltered valleys. 40 in concord. still 50 in manchester. lower 50's at the coast. patchy fog and visibilities down down to less than a third of a mile in a couplef spots. the breeze will pick up again today and will be in we're going to look at a little search in temperatures as the system approaches. we aren't looking at warm temperatures by any stretch of the imagination. mid 60's will about do it for the afternoon in most spots. notice a little bump in temperature here back to the north and west. we're expecting quite a bit of sunshine into the afternoon and thanks to the northeast wind. fair skies today into the evening. lows in the 40's to lower 50's. look at the building and increase in clouds for tomorrow. maybe a couple of

erin: thanks. tilton police announced a major drug bust. sean: what started ended with the seizure of drugs and fentanyl. ray brewer live to explain how it went down. good morning, ray. ray: good morning. it started when they stoppe expired tag. they noticed evidence of illegal drugs and obtained a search warrant. inside the car, they found a large shipment of heroin, fentanyl, and crystal meth. more than 740 grams, worth of $8,000. police discovered a large amount of cash and a gun reported stolen out of boston. officers say it is clear that the drugs were intended to be sold in the area. now tilton police say

later in the day. most of that confined to southern areas. scattered showers lifting northward. the most organized will be for the first half of saturday. again we're going to run the risk of a couple of showers here or there later saturday or into sunday. nothing terribly organized at least as the maps are suggesting at this point. if you have the outdoor plans for the weekend, early saturday there could be quite a bit of shower activity around. i suspect that will be the most organized. this matthew. it goes through the caribbean and starting to lift northward. this could be an issue. that's something we'll keep tabs on through the weekend. for the time being, we start off in the 40's and climb into the low to mid 60's. the breeze, cool conditions, and partial sunshine. tomorrow clouds continue to build and maybe a shower late in the day. scattered showers friday night and a couple more around on saturday. could be a linger shower sunday or monday. the low will be slow to move away.

erin: 6:55. updating the top stories. sean: tilton police announced a major drug bust. here's ray brewer. ray: police say this began when an officer stopped the car for having a false inspection sticker. prior to that, the officers noticed the car met at another vehicle. after stopping the car, officers say they noticed evidence of illegal drugs, including heroin, fentanyl, and crystal meth. they also discovered a large amount of cash and a gun that was reported stolen out of helping her grandson sell drugs while he was behind bars. police say they listened to phone calls between dylan maliska and regina miner in which he instructed her to get drugs from the home and sell them. sean: voters will be allowed to snap a photo of their ballot and post it on social media without the threat of violating state
