[captioning performed by the national captioning institute, which is responsible for its caption content and accuracy. visit ncicap.org] amy: good afternoon. i'm amy coveno. right now, we are awaiting autopsy results on a body police believe is that of a missing teen from nashua, where grief counselors are meeting with students at this hour. the body was found yesterday in the merrimack river right over the state line in tyngsborough, massachusetts. 16-year-old jacob goulet disappeared friday during the heavy rains, and police are operating on the assumption he fell into an open storm drain. nashua with our top story. ray: nashua's mayor said they have never had anything like this happen and don't know how it could have happened. nashua police say that they should be ready to release more information later today, as jacob goulet's friends mourn his loss. at the site where 16-year-old jacob goulet is believed to have

including a sneaker brought by nicholas brown. >> he usually wears converse everyday to school. i haven't seen him not wearing a pair since three years ago. ray: nicholas brown stopped by last night to pay homage to one of his best friends. brown describing goulet as someone who would always try to make light of the situation, even in difficult times. >> try to make a joke or something just get him by. ray: an intense search for goulet began on saturday after he was reported missing. police believe that goulet disappeared during friday night's downpour. he fell into the open storm drain. how it was open is still under investigation. sunday, a body was found in the merrimack river in tyngsborough, massachusetts. the body is believed to be goulet's. >> the crisis team met this morning -- ray: at nashua north high school, where goulet was a student, extra grief counselors are on hand. the superintendent says they

>> during the weekend the building administration reached out to classroom teachers and asked who of the students in their classes may be affected by the tragedy and then gave those names to guidance counselors this morning. ray: the staff has also been instructed to keep a lookout for certain symptoms. >> we want to look for certainly signs of sadness. we want to make sure that people are available and kids can get help immediately if they need to. ray: just minutes ago we had a gentle man stopped by and tie those balloons to the calling this a tragedy. the superintendent says they will continue to monitor students in the coming days to make sure that help is available, as you heard her say, if they need it. also, one of jacob goulet's friends has set up ago fun meet fundraiser for funeral costs and have already raised $8,000. amy: meanwhile, state police are still looking for a dorchester, new hampshire teen.

news 9 has learned the republican presidential nominee's son eric trump will be in new hampshire this week. his trip here tomorrow includes stops in manchester, nashua, salem, stratham, and seabrook. our granite state debate series is coming up in about a week. on november 1, tune in for the race for governor. invited candidates are republican chris sununu and democrat colin van ostern. on november 2, it's the u.s. senate debate between republican kelly ayotte and democrat maggie hassan. the first congressional district frank guinta, independent shawn o'connor, and democrat carol shea-porter, takes place november 3. and rounding out the series will be the second congressional district debate between democrat annie kuster and republican jim lawrence on november 4. all of the debates start at 7:00 p.m. and they will be live streamed on wmur.com and on our mobile app. an attempted traffic stop ends in gunfire.

say the officer was not injured at all, and the young woman will also be ok, but she did suffer some minor cuts from the broken glass. elizabeth hur, abc news, new york. amy: an investigation is underway after a deadly tour-bus crash in california. 13 people were killed and 31 others injured when the bus rear-ended a semi-truck early sunday morning. the impact was so strong the bus went about 15 feet into the trailer. the ntsb is joining the investigation into what caused iraqi special forces started shelling isis positions near mosul overnight in the latest part of the effort to retake the city. the campaign to force isis out of mosul involves more than 25,000 troops, militia, and tribal fighters. officials have been planning the effort for months and could take wants to complete it. kurdish forces say dozens of militants were killed this weekend and they managed to

year when one size does not fit all. very different weather conditions from north to south across the state. you notice central and southern areas enjoying a good deal of sunshine. then you had up into the north country, where temperatures have been stubborn. overcast skies and a couple of mixed showers a possibility as we make a way through the afternoon with a disturbance slowly sliding south over canada. even into the evening the those will be in the upper 20's to low 30's. the western slopes and keep things fair as we work our way through the afternoon and evening. temperatures this afternoon in the 50's with the wind. doesn't necessarily feel that way. overnight we will drop back in the north country into the low to mid 30's. the flow for the time being out of the west and northwest continues to feed in the cooler air to canada and plenty of cause for the north country. temperatures in the low 40's. bear in mind as you had farther north we are in the upper 30's.

that is what i did in advance, and then i had some hazelnuts that are in the sauce that are posted in sauteed been very last minute we put it the sage and we sauteed not for no longer than a minute and it immediately goes into your heavy cream. not diet food, just delicious food. basically, you put it all together and i roasted vegetables -- amy: talk about the veggies. i see parsnips, shallots, any of your auto-style vegetables will go delicious in this. amy: you are strict about browning the butter and the freshness of the herbs. fred: you must use fresh sage. it will not test the same and will not taste as good. saut? that for a minute. otherwise that you will overcook
