encouraging them to come forward. this morning 69-year-old eugene perreault was arrested and charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault. more than a week ago, police say a man approached them saying he was victimized by perreault about 20 years ago while he was a boy scout in newfield. at the time, police say the alleged victim was younger than 13 years old. authorities say perreault was a scout master for the boy scouts of america from the mid 1990's through 2006 newfields. police also confirmed perreault was the town health officer, a role he was removed from today. he posted cash bail and will be arraigned december 13. >> it's not unusual for victims of sexual assault to not come forward right away. it is important to remember

at this time. mike: police say the alleged victims they are working with are all within the context of the suspect's former role as a scout master. anyone else with information on this is asked to call police or crime stoppers. mike cronin, wmur news 9. tom: tonight the city of nashua says it is not taking any chances with its storm grates after the disappearance of a teenager. it is believed 16-year-old jacob glate was swept away during friday's storm and while the city says it is that will ever happen again. wmur's heather hammel is live to explain the work under way right now to make sure that it doesn't. heather: multiple public works crews are already working to make sure there are tamper proof locks put on all of the drains that are here in the city. they are also working to replace aluminum grates with stainless steel. that still does not answer the question of why the grate you see behind me that has become now a memorial got loose in the

of the 16-year-old nashua high school north student believed to have fallen into this storm drain. city officials say they have gone over multiple scenarios and consulted with experts but can't determine what caused the grate to open on friday evening. >> they put brackets on the other one and it just popped off? come on. that's crazy. heather: it left city residents baffled and friends of jacob goulet in disbelief. >> i was like, this has got to be fake. when i watched the news i was crying. i couldn't heather: jesse says he and goulet bonded over music and while the high school sophomore had dealt with some tough times he was turning his life around. >> he was changing his life, trying to improve himself for the better. heather: at nashua high school north grief counselors were on hand to deal with the loss. >> during the weekend the building administration reached out to classroom teachers and asked who of the students in their classes may be affected by the tragedy and then gave those names to guidance counselors

jennifer: laconia police are working to identify the people involved in what was reported as a possible kidnapping. tom: authorities say it happened late last night on cottage street. we have more from laconia. reporter: one witness said he heard a woman scream and heard two cars taking off around 11:30 last night. authorities say they were called to cottage street here in laconia for what they are calling a possible kidnapping.

followed by a man who got out of the same vehicle. police say the witness says he saw the man grab the woman by the hair and put her back in the car and take off. police say the witness followed the car for a short distance and got a license plate number. that car was recovered at a residence in concord. police say they are still sorting through all of the facts in this case. >> at this point we treat it as a suspicious incident. possibility of at least the crime of assault. we're looking into the ail -- allegation of possible kidnapping. reporter: police say they are still following leads and looking for the public's help with any information they may have about this case. in laconia andy hershberger wmur news 9. tom: we'll have a cool week, at least at night for sure. >> a cool air mass pushing on in and a little chill you'll be feeling not only tonight but the next few days.

support for those affected by the flooding. more than 600 people in the area are still in shelters. josh: all right. check out the temperatures already chilling down in the north country. upper 30's and lower 40's at this hour. you know it's going to get colder than that. there's even colder temperatures down near or below the freezing mark already in some far northern locations like stewartstown and pittsburgh. head further south. we're stilln some 50's on the maps. that will be fading as we all head down into at least the 30's tonight. we made it up to 59 in concord. unofficial high today. the average is 58. believe it or not we were actually right about average. even a degree above it. nowhere near the record though of 81 from a long time ago. here's the winds. they've been gusting all day as high as about 30 miles per hour. still gusting around 15 miles per hour right now. they'll stay like that most likely through the evening hours

for tomorrow. and then calming down on wednesday. which looks like a pretty nice day. the wind does something. it kicks up the clouds as the wind comes out of the west or the northwest and bumps into the mountains and creates these clouds and in this case as well some snow flurries and some snow showers. that's why as the wind comes back down the other side, it dries out. that's why it's been clear in far southern new hampshire and partly cloudy in the lakes region and upper valley of central new hampshire. here we areno hampshire with snow flying again in some locations and it'll do so off and on right through the night and especially tomorrow morning as well. there is a little bit more in your future for only that part of the state. you can see the flow bringing in the colder air and it is bringing it down in a big way and also rotating around this big area of high pressure which is slowly pushing in and keeps our weather fairly dry away from

in canada and it is slowly pushing in. that's why temperatures tomorrow will be a good 10 degrees cooler than what they were for today. otherwise a fairly similar day. a little more snow tomorrow in the mountains most likely. here is tonight. clear to partly cloudy skies in central and southern new hampshire. with snow showers or flurries in the mountains particularly in those up slope locations to the north and west. that continues into tomorrow. tomorrow they eventually wane a bit. here is wednesday. a nice day. lots of sunshine. lighter winds. still chilly moves in. if this system moves in in the morning there could be a quick burst of snow particularly in the northern part of the state. if it holds into the afternoon when temperatures rise a little higher it would move in as all rain. that is one thing to watch. chances for rain, none for tomorrow and very little on wednesday. thursday you see a high chance but that's particularly in the afternoon. friday it's particularly in the morning. they drop this weekend, saturday night there could be some

jamie: it took a few days but week eight of high school football season is finally done. the last two of the suspended games from friday night played out this afternoon including keene making a trip to play the broncos. their helmets university of it looks like. the blackburg quarterback comes around the right side. takes a hit. good for a first down. keeps it again and finds the end zone. that's a touchdown for the black birds. keene to the air he'll find michael abreu. he does the rest. check it out. he turns it into a touchdown for 60 yards as he works his way through the defenders. that gave keene an 18-0 lead. fourth and long when chapman breaks free for 40 yards and a broncos touchdown. they avoid the shutout but keene gets the victory final in hudson, 18-6. dover played today. finished up their game from
