the possibility of many more victims. mike cronin has the latest. mike: police are working with several alleged victims and say there could be more. if there are, they are encouraging them to come forward. he was a scoutmaster for roughly a decade. now, eugene perreault is accused of sexual assault. >> we had a courageous victim he was victimized by the suspect 20 years ago. at the time, authorities say he was younger then 13 years old. >> we had a lengthy interview with the victim and his family. while i do not want to reveal the details of the investigation, we did make contact with the suspect and

was a scoutmaster for the boy scouts of america from the mid-1990's through 2006. he was arrested this morning and charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault, forcible rape. >> it is not unusual for victims of sexual assault to not come forward right away. in this case, it took approximately 20 years for that to happen. we am glad -- we are glad they did come forward at this time. mike: was also the health officer in new fields. the town website describes the position as focusing on information for health issues. >> he has been removed from his duties in that role. mike: he was released on cash bail and is set to be arraigned in december. all of the alleged victims are in the context of his former role as a scoutmaster.

lake which is a retention pond for all of the storm drains. suzanne: he says his son was a big and strong kid in great shape but he was no match for the power of the moving water. he is working to create a curriculum for students much like fire safety. >> i want to create some videos and other media to show people about the danger. dangers because no one really does that. a lot of the stories happen when there is a lot of damage. suzanne: nashua city officials say they hope that the public can help out in this effort to keep the city safer. they say that if you see an open manhole or storm drain to give the public works department or the police a call.
