orlando 54 and sanford is in the low 50s. de land up and towards the peerson area in volusia. cool and sunny. 64 by 2:00, 61 by 8:00 tonight. looking great. the weather looking even better. look at this, 70s for you peppering in by sunday and ride it into next weekend. looking good with a rain chance maybe by wednesday. we'll call it 30 % at this time. over to you. developing this morning, an 8 -year-old boy is in the hospital after being hit by a car. >> the driver didn't even stop to make sure the little boy was okay. >> this happened last night in titusville. the boy is now at arnold palmer hospital in orlando and gina is joining us now with the latest on how he's doing. >> hi, when titusville firefighters got to the scene, they found the little boy conscious but hurt. he was flown here to arnold palmer with a head injury. the good news is he was stable

point it's unclear how bad that head injury is. this whole thing happening yesterday at 6:00 p.m. in titusville. the fire department says the young boy was riding his bike when someone hit him and then just drove off. firefighters say he was not wearing a helmet at the time. police currently investigating this whole situation and this morning, we are learning that police believe they may have found the vehicle involved in this hit and run crash, according to a tweet sent out by the titusville fire department. information and will bring you the latest. for now, reporting in atlanta. meanwhile, police are investigating the separate titusville. a man was hit and killed by an suv on old cheney highway. the victim's name has not yet been released. that driver did stay on the scene and that investigation continues, as well. also developing right now, learning new details about a deadly mass shooting in rural kansas.

least three people and injured 14 more did have connections here in florida and luann is standing by with the latest details in kansas. >> this all started yesterday afternoon in a small town of newton, just north of wichita. 38 -year-old cedrick ford car jacked someone and then went on a violent ride. police say ford shot anyone he saw as he drove to his job at a lawnmower factory a few miles away in hesten. police say ford opened fire on his co-workers, killing three of them. the rampage finally ended when a police officer braved the gunfire and shot forward, killing him. the fbi is now trying to figure out a motive. >> it was a nice guy. when i worked with him on the second shift, we hung out. everything was hunky dory. i mean, he didn't seem like this kind of guy. >> ford has connections to south florida. our news part nrsz at the orlando sentinel are reporting that he was previously charged

broward county and sentenced to three years in prison back in 2005 for carrying a concealed weapon as a felon. also new this morning, lots of water on the streets today. this was the scene on i drive earlier this morning after a driver hate water main and then it caused all that. i drive had to be shut down. it took utility workers about an hour to shut off the water, too. the road back open right now. troopers cited the driver for careless driving and not knowing he had a suspended license. she did go to the m. for neck and back pain. her name has not yet been released. the count down is on to super tuesday and donald trump has a big target on his back. >> yeah, they really went after him last night, rubio and cruz had kind of a slugfest with trump in the debate. but trump is still holding strong in the polls, even here in the state of florida.

out swinging but that applied last night. let's see the new poll, donald trump doing better than rubio here in florida. right now, not even close. keep in mind, this is before the debate last night. trump leading 44 -28 of the republican likely primary voters. cruz a distant third at 12 %. with rubio trailing in his home state, he certainly came out swinging last night. >> donald mentioned me in his answer that his position on immigration is what's driven his debate, but a lot of these positions he's choosing are new to him. (arguing). >> he hired workers from poland and he had to pay pamillion dollars in a judgment. >> wrong. >> and they just kept going back and forth. at times, it was hard to hear

each other. ted cruz also went toe to toe during the debate, which was held in cruz's home state of texas. >> donald, if you want to be liked in washington, that's not a good at ribute for a president. >> why so aggressive? last night's debate was the last before super tuesday. 12 states will hold their primaries on tuesday. republicans have their eyes on super tuesday. it's very important. the democrats making a stop in south carolina. experts predicting hillary clinton will win the state, but bernie sanders is making a last push for voters. meanwhile, a new poll shows clinton has a big lead over sanders, 20 points, 53' 33 are the numbers and florida democrats saying they support clinton. the poll also shows clinton lead among women with a huge lead of 69 -24, also in south carolina.

how do you come up with these ideas to do things like this? >> well, for the travel line, i actually did study abroad in college and so that was one of the best experiences i have ever had. it opened my mind. i was exposed to new things and when i came back, i said, i want everyone to experience this. and then another thing that happened was a lot of people were losing their passports while we were away. and so we were always going to the u.s. embassy, trying to get their passport back and i'm like, oh, may gosh, why don't i create a fashionable passport cover where you for sure won't lose this. you can keep your passport in the cover, it's beautiful and you definitely can't -- i mean, you danecan't lose this. >> sfaelgs for us ladies. but use a bright color like this, you know where it is. >> right, but you're gonna take care of this. >> how are you growing your business? what are you doing to make yourself successful? >> i mainly use online marketing and i actually started super

. what a day we've had here on good day orlando. welcome back. >> it's been interesting. >> yeah. i'm not real hungry right now, but we have food coming up this half hour. we'll get our appetite back. >> we want to get you caught up on some of the headlines, as well. titusville police believe they've found a car and drafsh in a hit and run involving an 8 -year-old boy, struck last night. he was taken to arnold palmer children's hospital. he has a head injury and is still recovering this mortgage. the boy was riding his bicycle when he was struck, but he was not wearing a helmet at the time. police have not yet released any details about that effect. sea world now acphageing they did send workers to spy on their critics. last year, pita acude the

pose at animal welfare activists in order to spy on their organization. sea world says the spying was done in an effort to maintain the safety of employees, animals. he's called on the company to end that practice now. orlando international airport breaking grounds today on a new united service organization welcome center. a place for american troops to relax before or after their flights. military families and verbs will be allowed to use the space for free. the $750,000 center will be featuring a big screen tv, quiet rooms with recliners and even a children's play area. the ground breaking will start at 10:00 a.m. time now for this morning's business headlines and lauren joins us lived from the fox business network studios. okay. you had said earlier that things looked really good for this friday. did it pan out that way? >> yep. it did. three minutesen is in session. dow's up 89 points. oil is up about 5 %. $34 and change.

the dow's up, including about 400 points this week, including the gain right now. >> let's talk about apple. they're now responding once again. this is back and forth. it's growing to end with a court order, we know that. >> yeah, and apple had until today to respond to the court order. the government's request that they unlock, create this back door to unlock the iphone use by the san bernadino terrorist. in just this one instance, the government wanted apple to do this. apple speding to that motion, saying, yeah, we're not doing this. and you know it's not just going to be this one instance. and you have a polarizing issue. you have in the debate last night, you had marco rubio, ted cruz, kasich and carson all supporting the government. that would make sense. and silken valley partnering and blocking apple, saying they're protecting free speech and the right to privacy. >> and let's leave it at this one here. a lot of people thought mortgage rates were going to start going up. it didn't happen.

and the temperatures are looking good. cool, yes. we know that and it was a pretty chilly morning. but we're headed to good looking weather on the day today. what you see now is what you get. here's cloud cover. slipped down to our south, no big deal. a rain tide, a tail end of low broad pressure. that's drawing the cloud cover down south. it's all the way down across towards charlotte now and looking good area wide as we scour out the clouds and bring in cool, sun-filled sky type weather today. 61 for us as we head towards 5 for the drive home and 54 by 8:00 tonight. the coming seven, no big shocker here. we've got nice 70s phasing back in. sunday, monday, tuesday, close to 80 during this time as the next weather system makes an approach. we increase the clouds, looks like the wind from the south begin to increase and the whole thing starts to pile on. and that will deliver a shot of rain chance, probably about 30 % and we'll have clearing, cooler
