for the world. >> it was a great season all the way through. post season has been a joy. >> reporter: it has been a joy for us indians fans for sure. i asked them if they would rather see tribe win at wrigley or go back to progressive and win in front of the fans there. both said they want to come back to cleveland champions. so we hope so too. another person that hopes that the tribe wins tonight here. is i caught up with them after batting, during batting practice. you will hear from them in half an hour. you will want to hear it. they are from chicago but, of course, rooting for indians. so live in chicago. shelby miller, cleveland 19. >> anchor: shelby last night we had a sellout crowd at progressive field. just for people to watch party. so i can only imagine what the fans over there are like.
7:06 am
because now they are down, you know, 3-1. what is the feeling, what is the mood? >> reporter: yeah, actually, yesterday right when kipnus scored that home run, i was walking around. inside of wrigley. and you could just see the amount of cubs fans piling out of the ballpark. during that. so you could tell, especially last night. they were bummed. as we would be if this was reversed but they have a lot of hope. a lot of people out h i am sure they will all be back here later today. for game three. because they all are hoping for one more win to stay in this series. of course we are hoping for opposite on that. >> anchor: of course we do. something i noticed when cubs were here. there were a lot of cub fans here. are you seeing more than those two guys and family members in the stadium? >> reporter: you know, it was hard pressed especially when we first got here.
7:07 am
really to find any indian fas friday. i only found two fans outside of wrigley. when you get inside. you start to see more. a lot of them though work for the team. so it is really hard to tell how many actually bought the tickets and came here. because here at wrigley they are so much more expensive than at progressive. i also was interested to see, since they could possibly clinch tonight f there would be tribe fans that were making overnight trip or trip here to chicago this morning. drive was. so i am hoping we will see more indian fans here tonight. but it is nothing like it was with a number of cub fans back in our city. >> anchor: tickets were cheaper here. so pass by garrett's popcorn and bring carmel cheddar mix. my favorite. all right shelby. we will see you back in a bit. our championship hopes rest on trevor bowers's arm tonight and

upstaged by a cult puppy and bunny. so sweet. so world series tonight. and it is really funny. we do graphics to keep you on play. but i was like do i do it for chicago weather forecast or do it for ours? basically, they are exactly the same. right now, we are dealing with a system that is coming through, giving some areas of chicago light rain. but overall, this evening, we are all going to be in the same boat. first pitch for us, if you are going to the watch later innings 48. if there is a celebration it will feel cooler than that. we will be dealing with north windchill. north breeze. so it will feel like low 40s. so come prepared. come prepared today as well. because today is definitely a first alert outlook day of bad weather. rain likely at times. window of opportunity is this mid-morning through early afternoon. depends on where you live. as the system will come through. by about 4:00.
7:19 am
hear a rumble of thunder. lake county heavier rain. mid-morning, afternoon, driving could be on the tricky side. today's forecast we are starting off some areas just partly cloudy skies. but we are warm. warmest part of the day right now. as we go through the day. cold front comes through. our temperatures begin to decline. then we will be dealing with a feels like or windchill factor after the fact. so watch out for that rain, snack dab in the middle of the day. north enjoy tingright now. heading off toward erie, pa. ashtabula you will see it later. lake geauga later. but it comes to downtown. it is a massive blob of green, that means everyone along the lake shore gets something. whether you live south, akron, canton, you will not see as much, although you will see something. you should know that the big weather story in the nation is warm temperatures coming to most of the nation.
7:20 am
but everyone in the mid sector, some areas, could be pushing 90 degrees at the beginning of the week. we are not going to see that heat. but we do warm. so future view shows rain shower comes ashore. mainly toward lake geauga, ashtabula. and includes part of downtown 9:00. so close. but you can see heavier rain sandusky at 11:00. after 11:00, noon time. heavy tailgating time. at that point we d thunderstorms. nothing severe. but i will say this. look at this. 2:00 we are looking much improved. by 3:00 better yet. and 4:00 everything is out of here. so we will have a dry evening. which is most important. current temperatures 59 hopkins. 63 akron, canton. so mild now and temperatures are not going to go up today. monday, 55 degrees. halloween actually looks great for trick-or-treaters. cool side. may be an extra layer under the ghost costume.
7:21 am
i know that's not 90s. i know it is not 80s like people toward cincinnati might see 80. but for right now i left it on conservative side of 75, and 74. dry days. next weather event comes in wednesday night and all day thursday where we will see light rain showers. next weekend, friday saturday, sunday, all dry and october like. even though it is november. >> anchor: nice. we want it to be nice here in cleveland. if we win the streets will be dry and cool and everyone jumping up and down will create body heat. we will be fine. >> anchor: sounds good. thank you beth. up next. one of the more unique political displays we have seen. there is no doubt who the creator is voting for.
7:25 am
>> anchor: now 7:25 here in cleveland. beautiful shot. all right. they are a staple for weeks before an election. especially one with the white house at political sign is what i am talking about. when displayed caught harry boom's display on cleveland's east side. >> i made this. for hillary clinton. >> reporter: byron made these signs to show support for candidate hillary clinton. >> remind me this is a very serious election this year. and everyone needs to realize this is our future and vote. >> reporter: he made two
7:26 am
the president's back. kelly said it is more than a political display. when you hear people say their vote will not count how does that make you feel? >> bad because when things do not go their way they will say -- if you do not. vote nothing to say about it. >> reporter: kelly said old lady and old man represent retired people on social security. the guy in the hard hat is hard wog byron said one of the reasons he put up the figurine is peak curiosity and motivate people to vote. it appears to work. >> i think that's wonderful. i mean we should all vote. i certainly will be there. >> great thing. you know, we hear so much about negative stuff in our communities. this is a good thing. we have to get out and vote. no matter who you vote for. it is important that you exercise that right. >> reporter: family member
7:27 am
the streets of her community. >> all lot of people know me. i will be out october 30. knocking on door-to-door making sure that everyone gets out to vote and educate them and let them know their vote does matter. >> reporter: your vote will only count if you cast it. getting answers. harry boomer. cleveland 19. >> anchor: and kelly showed harry a neighbor down the street that has three trump/pence signs and portman sign in the yard. true sign ofem sure is. and all right. a warning if you are about to eat granola for breakfast. back to nature recalls four items because they have an undeclared milk allergen f a person that is allergic to dairy eats a chocolate favoritena granolaor cookie product it could a life threatening reaction. throat out the items right away. more on the indians big win last night.

7:31 am
s. >> tribe is one win away from the worldie last night's 7-2 win at wrigley field. so what are cub fans thinking about this morning? we will tell you in a few minutes. and now you better pack your punch if you are thinking of coming to first energy stadium or your umbrella before you head out to morning services. beth you are here saying hey it will rain but not too bad. >> she spent the night at the station. letting you know. >> anchor: i know. >> weather: rain is not here
7:32 am
but i would bring the rain poncho. you know the brown's red. hoody. >> anchor: i don't know if you are allowed umbrellas inside. >> weather: i don't think so. but to be safe. let you know. there is a possibility that we do see showers, even the possibility of some rumbles of thunder next few hours. you can see temperature wise, now is the warmest time. of the morning. temperatures are just going to start sliding to the south. so as we get going through the morning time. i have chance of showers 9:00. mainly lake geauga, ashtabula county. ten or 11:00 i am concerned with. especially coming downtown. especially dopplermax, all over the lake. heaviest stuff. first couple of waves, heading toward the east erie pa. ashtabula will get clipped along the lake shore. but i widen out. you can see the concern. couple of hours left until more
7:33 am
so that could be really good news for akron, canton. do not worry, if you are planning to come downtown for the watch party tonight. there won't be any rain at that point. as a matter of fact, by 3 or 4:00 some areas dry out. it is, i think, browns will have some bad weather to play in. or at least a possibility is greater for browns to play in. soaking rain. do not worry. tonight when everyone is downtown. we will be dry. >> anchor: thank you beth. continuing to track breaking news of another massi morning. and this is the third after shock felt in central and southern italy just this week. and in the last half hour we have learned six people were trapped in buildings near the basilica of san benedict. several hurt. but no, no one killed. and back to the top story. what a win for the indians. they are one win away from world series title. and now cub fans seem to be
7:34 am
we did some searching this morning. found tickets for as low as a cheap $750. that is a third of what they were going for at the beginning of the series. some cub fans selling seats for as much as $2000 just last week. when indian -- one i couldian is enjoying this series. he is from chicago. our shelby miller is in the windy center. there are a few jason kipnis jerseys in the stand in chicago game. right? >> reporter: yeah, lid y inside of the field here. jason kipnis's family sink hide home plate for all three games here. like you said. it is funny. they are from chicago. i asked his dad. did you ever think you would be wearing a non-cubs jersey inside of wrigley. he laughed. the family said no they did not expect this. but, hey, jay on had an incredible game last night. i caught up with the family
7:35 am
hug him. here is what they said about him being here. playing at wrigley for the indians. >> reporter: sporting kipnis jersey behind home plate. his family gets ready to root on indians. second baseman in world series. >> jason has surprised us at each and every level. and he is always exceeded our expectations. and this year cleveland has exceeded our expectations. they have not let the injuries bother them. they keep been fantastic to watch. >> reporter: for this family watching kipnis in world series at wrigley field is extra special because he grew up in cub territory. >> grown up in chicago all the time. to finally come here, but have it be cleveland, it has been surreal for everyone in the family. but for these games we are all tribe fans and all jason fans. and cubs will have to wait one more year. for kipnis playing on this
7:36 am
stadium like nothing yells fans are always fantastic. you can see it on tv. and now to experience it. it is special. >> reporter: what is more special last night. the indians tweeted out that kipnis was the first player to hit a three run homer in the wrigley field during the world series. since baby ruth. so that's a feat right there. nothing like seeing him play so well here in chicago for our live in chicago. shelby miller, cleveland 19. >> anchor: that was really good last night. because his back has been slow for this series. so now that he is kind of elevateed it. is he getting boo'd by the cub's fans or do they seem to appreciate him? how do they welcome him back home? >> reporter: you know, i didn't hear anyone booing last night. i sign saw people leaving the stadium after that.
7:37 am
of friends that are inside wrigley. of course, rooting for cubs. and they, at least, want kipnis to do well. hoping for a good series here. but obviously,, kipnis did fantastic last night. i horde local station here yesterday morning. talking about him saying he had not delivered for indians very much during the series. but he changed all of that last night during the game. >> anchor: sure did. shelby miller thank you. reporting live from chicago. and we have a way to child safe when you go trick-or-treating. we are getting answers on some apps you can download to track where exactly they are, and when
7:41 am
another local band. it is 7:40 on sunday morning. tomorrow is halloween. now there are apps to keep track of your kids while they trick or treat. family signal for iphone? shares your child's location and comes with a panic button for emergencies. you can set up a geofence with trick or treat route and get an alert if your child leaves the area. life sign is a similar app for android. and there is track and treat that lets you see where your and if you need to know when your city is having trick-or-treating go to our free news app and find your city in our list of dates and our times. and the fall weather is finally here in northeast ohio, which it means perfect fall dishes for thanksgiving or halloween or whatever you want. we have registered dietitian karen here to show us how to cook spaghetti squash. my favorite.
7:42 am
about spaghetti squash is that one cup is about 42 calories only. and you can replace it with regular pasta so you can have four cups of this versus one cup of pasta. so we are getting more bang for your buck. >> anchor: you can eat as much as you want. >> it has fiber. maine ral is mangys which is used in many process, of the body. lots of vitamins. talk about it. because it can be intimidating. most cutting it. >> anchor: need a good sharp knife. >> yes. if you go on internet you will see different ways that people cut them. and if you do not have a strong husband around. you can cut it down the middle. or you can poke a bunch of holes in it, stick it in microwave of the oven. best way to do it, you want to cutoff the stem first. >> anchor: like a pumpkin. >> yes. use your body weight to slice it down the middle. then when you open it up.
7:43 am
inside. like a cantaloupe. so you scoop that out and bake the seats seeds like pumpkin seeds too. and i prefer to do mine face up. lots of people do face down. >> anchor: i do face up. i like that too. >> you can stick the fork in. and see is it cooking. now my preference is 400 for about 45 to 60 minutes. depends on the size of the squash. so after about 30 minutes you want to check for consistency that you like. and we take it out of the oven. >> make sure you do not drop it. >> i know. it is round. basically i will have you help me here. the trick to making it look like spaghetti you have to flake it out. you can see right there. it flakes out. and there is -- >> it looks like spaghetti. >> it does. it looks like spaghetti it has a similar taste. sweet taste as well. one thing i want to point out.
7:44 am
enhances flavor before you bake it. so what can we do with spaghetti squash. same things you do -- it is good, right? >> anchor: yes. >> with regular pasta. right here we have a dish where i took a jar of sauce. meatballs. if you have people that are not vegetarian treat it like regular spaghetti. >> anchor: it is delicious. >> this dish here, what i have done here, is we can saute like you would do with regular pasta. >> anchor: this i good. >> saut?ing onions and garlic. then i will throw in some tomatoes here. you want to saute the tomatoes. and then we are going to have premade spaghetti squash. if you are going to do a dish like, this probably want it to be a crunchy consistency. do not want to bake it fully. >> how long does it stay in the refrigerator? i think i have had it two weeks. thank not be right. >> if you see mold do not eat
7:45 am
can keep it probably for a week. probably still fresh. so we saute it up. put spinach on top here. >> anchor: some onions and feta. look at this. this is delicious. that's awesome. we have to go. but those looks fabulous. very good alternatives. especially if you are on a low carb diet. so excellent. karen thank you so much. we will chow down during the pumpkin soup. cold pumpkin soup in the next segment. >> anchor: thank you. all right beth we have it warmed up for you. >> weather: you know what it smells great. >> first alert weather center hour-by-hour forecast. >> weather: smells fantastic in the studio. now smells garlic like but when you have been up as well garlic does you good. halloween forecast. i know there are moms out there that care about the tribe and browns. but they really care about
7:46 am
and princesses going out trick-or-treating. halloween tomorrow. i will tell you what, it looks fantastic. on the cool side. it is going to be dry. most importantly. world series tonight. watch party and in chicago. basically having the exact same weather. chicago actually getting rain showers we will see in a bit. first pitch tonight. watch party. 50 degrees. by later innings and hopefully we win. 48 degrees. problem is, north breeze to 40s. but will not matter. because tons of people downtown and huddled together jumping up and down sharing. it does matter. you need something to bundle up with. but at least you do not need the rain. later on. middle of the rain. tailgating. browns game. need to bring something waterproof to go over the head. poncho probably. or a hoody because we could see showers. even possibility of storms. especially along the lake shore.
7:47 am
right smack-dab in the middle of the day. and this is why. system right now is all to the north. i know you are looking and saying detroit getting rain and this is north of toledo, toledo not getting anything. floats over the lake. yes the beginning. we are socked with the tail end of this. coming through south bend right now. heading toward toledo. and the good news is, if you do download our weather app it will tell you when it is raining in toledo and gives you head up for when it is coming to downtown cleveland. to the south warmer air stays in place. places like atlanta will push upper 80s over the next couple of days. as a matter of fact, for the next three weeks long-term model shows we stay well above average. with that said average is mid 50s. so if you are thinking 80 it won't be that warm. but we will hit mid 70s by the middle of the week. next weekend above average and sunny. future view and rain.
7:48 am
plan out the morning. 7:00 a.m. rain north. bus by about 10:00 you can see that first wave that is over the lake, currently, this is what i am more worried about right here. stuff coming through south bend looks to time out sandusky, 10:00. i know tailgaters downtown. by noon, the heaviest is just toward bratnell. close call. so that's why for brown's game if you hear thunder or see it in the forecast. that's why, 1:00 we are still seeing moderate rainfall. by 3:00, 4:00, it is gone. so good news we dry out. bad news some timeing is terrible for anyone going to the brown's game. currently warmest spot of the day 59 hopkins. new philly. temperatures will drop slowly throughout the daytime. at no point will it feel like yesterday. right? i left the daytime high of 58. but that was generously nice. halloween, dry, and 55.
7:49 am
tuesday mostly sunny and 75. and mostly sunny again on wednesday. 74 lydia cheering in her seat. until wednesday night comes around and we have rain showers. so that could be tricky thursday. thursday messy but one day washout before friday, saturday, sunday, all dry and fabulous. >> anchor: it does look nice. thank you. and. >> this building is haunted. >> anchor: it is one of cleveland's best known landmark but is it filled with ghosts? this morning, we go ghost busting to see if there is something spooky going on at the museum of art.
7:53 am
>> anchor: look at that haze over cleveland. 7:53, start with this. this month, some people call this a ghost, spotted on surveillance inside of the cleveland museum of art. so frightening the museum would not hand over the footage. but our cameras captured some of the stories and experience paranormal activity firsthand. we have answers on whether museum is haunted. woo. >> it is the place where the dead are resurrected but i found out some spirits here are not ready to crossover. they want immortality. unlike the film night at the museum.
7:54 am
museum of art are not covered by the veil of night. they come out when the doors are open. visitors report seeing this little boy running in the west wing of the gallery. then popping back into the painting. ?is? >> absolutely. >> reporter: leslie cade worked here 16 years. heads up archive team showed me original pictures from the gallery 100 years ago. >> people reported people standing looking in the mirror see people standing behind them when they turn around there is nobody there. >> reporter: just last year someone was standing there. and a museum employee snapped this picture. during the final prep for monet exhibition. when low and behold captured at the top of the balcony artist himself and impressionist claude monet. could not be explained.
7:55 am
gabrielle. his portrait once here in the gallery. visitors saw him in the flesh, and then he would appear back into the painting. oddly enough when painting came down the sightings stopped. but the stories do not end there. night guards report lights flickering off-and-on. the west wing of the museum started in 1916. has seen the highest activity for ghosts. then we experienced it first firsthand. when we were inside of the gallery we only heard one alarm. when we got back to review the footage several were captured by the cameras. >> we have no explanation for it. >> reporter: then i had my own experience in march of this year. >> me and my friend were here for a night at the museum. i looked into the eyes of this head. i said get my picture because
7:56 am
