you learn from mistakes and then move on quickly, and we'll do that. >> tia: when the manager says it, right, you're supposed to do it. you heard manager terry francona say move on. a 9-3 loss forces game seven tonight between the cubs and indians. >> brian: now it's all about one baseball me it all comes down to this, since pitchers and catchers reported in february, we are here at a make-or-break game seven. what a baseball season and what a way to end. tonight where game seven will decide the champion of major league baseball. by the way, tonight's game has been moved eight minutes from 8:08 to 8:00. by the way, the indians are set up. i really believe the indians are set up. there's no momentum in baseball.
6:01 am
pitching. the indians have corey kluber going tonight. the bull pen is set up. andrew miller and cody allen did not pitch last night. chapman pitched for the cubs and rolled his ankle. i love the indians position tonight. >> tia: it's a great game and the indians will come out on top. if the fans are in the stands tonight, the weather will cooperate. good morning, >> samantha: good morning, guys. good morning if you're just rolling out of bed. i know we're all waking maybe a little bit on the grumpy side this morning, maybe not super pumped about last night's game, but that's all right. we're going to fix it tonight. the weather will help us out. let's get straight to the game time forecast. first pitch as brian mentioned moved to 8:00 on the nose. here's what we're looking at. about 70 degrees for that.
6:02 am
myself every time i saw it because it's november 2nd. we're going to be at 70 at 8:00 at night with a slight chance for a few showers. especially in the later innings. rain chances are much more impressive after the game. starting off this morning. we're mainly dry, and i do think we get through the day dry. there's a little chance for a stray or passing shower throughout the day. could happen at any time. not everyone will see rain. any rain that develops wille back to near 80 today. over to you. >> laura: man, what a good luck today. a little slowing along the shoreway area as you make your way eastbound this morning. it's going to be just in the downtown cleveland area. the rest of the map is looking all green. no big troubles on the highways, but look at this. at the start of the 6:00 hour, we have a report of an accident that came in. it sounds like a bad accident as well.
6:03 am
avenue. it's a very into a building with some possible severe injuries out there. careful through the area. do expect to see emergency officials on the scene. drive times looking on time still. mentor to cleveland 28 minutes, 56 minutes inbound from canton. elyria to cleveland 27 minutes and 19 minutes from strongsville. coming up, we have the commute from the south at 6:18. we go to tia and brian at the ballpark. it's a winning wednesday and it's a wednesday and i vbt hump day? >> tia: hump day. yeah, we forgot to say that. i was also thinking bad for that goat that was showing up all last week. and we certainly hope that the curse of the billy goat continues today. >> brian: comes out in full force. we send out best out on the field tonight. corey kluber has the start for the tribe. the indians have to put last night's game behind them.
6:04 am
up and kurt bryant crushed it. this can't happen in high school baseball. are you kidding me? the rest is history. indians manager terry francona says his team will be fired up and ready to go tonight. >> you learn from your mistakes and move on quickly. we'll do that. it will be exciting to come to the ballpark tomorrow. shoot, i might just wear my uniform home. i might get ice cream on though, so maybe i better not. >> tia: i love him. he's really awesome. >> brian: he'll have the guys ready. >> tia: he's not the only one confident going into game seven tonight. >> brian: players are confident. tony zarrella went in the clubhouse after the game. listen, they're ready to go. >> reporter: leave it to franky lindor say with a smile, this is what the tribe wanted, a game seven. everyone watch being and everything on the line. they would have rather won game
6:05 am
game seven is upon us. why not embrace it? >> i'm excited. this is what we always wanted. there's not one -- not one of us when we were growing. everybody said game seven, 3-2 count. no one said game three, game five. so, i mean, this is what we want. >> we put ourselves in good shape. they threw some good games and at-bats. we would have like to have got on we have our chances. >> everything is magnified in game seven, because everything is on the line. you know, if you lose, you're going home. >> that clubhouse isn't let down by any means. we have a good run at this thing, and we have another shot tomorrow. we have a resilient team and will be ready to go tomorrow and try to close this thing out. there's only one more game left to play, so everybody is left to
6:06 am
on the hill tonight in game seven. hopefully he'll have more help than josh fom lynn did in game six. we'll talk about the first inning flub that's coming up. i'm tony zarrella, "cleveland 19 news." >> brian: every call will be scrutinized tonight. >> tia: absolutely. this is what you need to know about game seven, the match-up tonight. for the third time this series, the indians are going to ace corey kluber to pitch. he will face arguably the cubs best pitcher this year, kyle hendricks. the indians beat him in game three. kluber won both games one and four. the gates open at 6:00 and first pitch is at 8:00 sharp. that's a change. today it will be 8:00 p.m. one thing that a lot of people are talking about, talking about the fans, right? you saw their faces as the game ended last night. they didn't look too happy, but most remain optimistic.
6:07 am
where we're convinced maybe something bad is about to happen. let's check in with nichole vrsansky. nicki, that should have went away with the cavs won the championship, but you know how it goes. >> that's just how it goes. good morning, guys. it's hard to be an indians fan and not wake up this morning feeling a little bit anxious, but we know how to move on. we're moving on. we have this. game seven. it's going to be backed outside the fans are are standing up channeling their energy and confidence to the players on the field. we caught up with some fans leaving progressive last night outside gateway plaza, and there was disappointment, probably some shock, too. i know a lot of people thought last night was really our night, the night we would do this. some of the people we talked to said, hey, it's cleveland. this is how it happens in cleveland. it's also believeland, and they believe this is going to happen
6:08 am
>> cleveland would not have it any other way. we're going to win in game seven. >> we'll be back. i got a lot of faith in francona. >> tom petty is the smartest man i heard of, and his biggest words are the waiting is the hardest part. we waited so long for this, and we're ready for it. >> nichole: we are ready for it. we're ready to rally together tonight, and the fans are excited. they're confident having corey kluber on m they were also happy that the cubs decided to use chapman maybe last night, maybe burned off some of the heat that he throws for indians players. they're confident we're going to see a tribe victory tonight in game seven. live in progressive, nichole vrsansky. back to you guys. >> brian: excellent. here are some things to know. the cubs are the first team to force a game seven after trailing 3-1 since 1985. previously, there have been 36
6:09 am
those games? 18-18. you'll remember 1997 the indians lost in game seven, but that was on the road down in miami. of course, they had the lead in the ninth inning and jose mesa blew it. that was in '45. yes, i'm still bitter about jose mesa, in which you wonder, which started the infamous curse of the billy goat. >> tia: ticket prices. these tickets prices series have been astronomical especially traveling to chicago. tonight's game may take the cake or your wallet altogether. >> brian: it might. let's check in with sia nyorkor. what's going on with ticket prices for game seven? >> sia: good morning, brian and tia. let me tell you, game seven is the hot ticket to get to this world series. check it out. we have people camped out here,
6:10 am
they came during the third inning overnight. you can see them here camped out in their lawn chairs. some of them are knocked out, curled up with blankets. some of them are playing cards just waiting to get their hands on some tickets. i talked with one diehard indians fan who said he would do anything to get his hand on a pair. >> the face value in the seats is why 100 to 2500. anything in that range. >> sia: a lot of people out here willing to pay top dollar. now i'm hearing right now that they're going to come out around 9:00 or 10:00 and they're going to let people know what kind of tickets are available. so a lot of cubs fans in here and there's indians fans right there in the middle. so far everything has been nice, and it's been all love. they're just trying to get their hands on the tickets to see the showdown here at progressive.
6:11 am
to you all. >> brian: thank you. 6:10. free tacos because of something that happened on the field? we'll take it. sam is down with free tacos, right? >> samantha: always. and we have to get brian to try taco bell. i mean, it's just crazy he's never had it, right? you can get tacos right here at progressive field tonight at the game. what about that game time forecast? i'll have it for you coming up

colorado, virginia, michigan and new mexico insisting it's because they have money to burn. hannah daniels, cbs news. >> laura: before the fanfare at progressive last night, the cavaliers took care of business over at the q. >> long launch. good night! >> they beat the houston rockets 128-120. the cavs are now off to a 4-0 record to start the season. they're back at home tomorrow nightos celtics. remember the cavs moved their game up two hours so it wouldn't interfere with the indians game? it didn't take long for the cavs to get over to progressive field. lebron, kevin love and richard jefferson were all there by the fifth inning. can you blame them? what a blast there. back out to progressive field where brian and tia, they're having a blast, too, continuing our indians world series coverage. guys. >> tia: absolutely. just like the cavs moved over
6:17 am
the ballpark this morning. >> brian: she's on the move. where the heck is sam? >> tia: i don't know. by corner bar is what i'm told. >> brian: what's going on, sam? >> samantha: good morning. i'm live now as you mentioned at the corner of carnegie and ontario. typically this area i've gotten these tickets in the past. of course, they were a lot cheaper than what they're going for tonight. this place is going to be packed later. i'm sure folks will stand shoulder-to-shoulder d h at the corner, but what about the weather? let's get straight to the maps. we want to know what you can expect. i think because it's so packed and we're all going to be like sardines over here, you might break a sweat. it's going to be warm at the game tonight. here's what i'm thinking starting with what's happening this morning. before we enjoy the game, we got to go to work. let's talk about temperatures starting off around 70. it is a dry, beautiful morning.
6:18 am
around and also a few sprinkles out in huron county and over the lake, but nothing that will slow you down on your way into work. there could be a stray shower or two that develops through the day. i don't think today will be a washout. if it starts to rain where you are, it probably won't last very long and it won't be very heavy. but there is that chance for passing showers. temperatures once again the big story. mid-60s at 9:00, 73 record territory at 3:00. upper 70s today with partly cloudy skies, and then that small shower chance. we have to carry that chance into tonight, unfortunately, but the good news is it's a really small chance of showers at first pitch and through the seventh inning stretch. those later innings is what we have to watch closely because the rain chance starts to go up late, especially after midnight.
6:19 am
70 first pitch dropping into the middle 60s by the final out. the rain that becomes steady and widespread after midnight will hang around for the morning commute tomorrow. so your morning drive on thursday likely be a little bit wet. by the afternoon we should be dry or maybe mostly dry with a little light lake-effect rain around tomorrow afternoon. we have to keep a close eye on that. temperatures take a major dive tomorrow as well. we're only in the 50s in the afternoon, and then the weekend 60. no more 70s this weekend. we'll be a lot cooler, but laura, we have plenty of sunshine in the forecast for the weekend. over to you. >> laura: we have a couple issue spots right now. i get right to them in a moment. first, letting you have a look at the main map that shows the cleveland metro and this area it shows is really looking very good. let'sup date you on this accident i have. bellaire at brookfield. i heard it was two vehicles involved in an accident. one of them when launching into
6:20 am
transported away by ambulance, but there were several ambulances on the scene and i heard that someone was trapped inside one of those vehicles. they're working to get that passenger out of that car. we update you with what is going on. there are severe injuries expected there which means a lot of emergency officials on the scene as well and could cause you delays passing through the area. another accident is boston mills, and also hearing it has injuries. i don't see any either side of route 8. headed nobody is where the accident is. careful through the area because we have emergency officials on the scene there as well. drive times are on time. strongsville, north olmstead, mentor and akron are moving well on the area highways. i go back to tia and brian at the ballpark. have you noticed tee kaaya -- sam is moves around but she's close to the bars. >> tia: i have noticed that. time is 6:20.

the trib better have ice running through their veins. this rock trivia can help maybe. it was this day in 1980, ice, ice baby by vanilla ice was the number one song in the country, although there are people that contend he stole that beat from queen and david bowie under pr we'll see. go to our facebook page and check out the rock trivia and enter for tickets to dinner and a show at the hard rock rocksino. >> tia: i could listen to that all night long. last night the indians honored eddie robinson, 95 years old and was first baseman for the world series 1948 team. he's the only one from the team still alive. >> brian: i have video from
6:25 am
they gave him and his wife betty a luxury box to watch the game. we talked with robinson about the difference between today's game and how he played some seven decades ago. >> the pitching has changed tremendously. when i played, pitchers wanted to go nine innings, and today if they go six innings it's called a quality start. so the relief pitching has become so prominent nowadays, and when i relief pitcher, but he oftentimes didn't get in the game. we would use -- sometimes we'd use a starter to relieve in a ball game. that's one of the big things. i think the equipment and the playing fields are so different, and home runs are, i think, a lot cheaper nowadays than they were then with the short fences in these ballparks. >> tia: robinson didn't miss a beat. he remembers everything from that time.
6:26 am
guy. good for him that he had the opportunity. he's a big texas rangers fan now. good for him to get up here and see the baseball game. >> tia: it's awesome the indians bring him and his wife. that's an awesome story in its right. the tribe may have lost last night, but one thing no one was complaining about? can you take a wild guess? the weather. they won't complain tonight either, right, sam? >> samantha: no, guys. one of the weather. november 2nd, and you might think, oh, i'm going to a ball i'm going to be freezing. not tonight or today. we have a perfect weather day on the way. we'll talk about that and we'll look ahead to the weekend coming up after the break. >> brian: up next, we get you ready for game seven world

>> high fly ball to left center. at the wall, grand slam! 7-0. >> brian: the cubs knocked it around the park last night. no question they beat the indians 9-3 in game six. we move on tonight. game seven at the ballpark. we have to tell you, love the indians position in game seven with kluber on the hill. starting pitching is the difference. they've also got that bull pen
6:30 am
>> tia: i have to read facts real quick i didn't know. since the first official game in 1886 only 36 of them have been a winner-take-all game seven of the world series. >> brian: history will be made tonight. one franchise is going to end a long, long drought. really believe it's going to be the indians tonight. love the way the game is set up for them. should be great weather, too, if you come to the ballpark.le hey, sam. >> samantha: hey, guys. good morning. first pitch tonight at 8:00, and it is going to be 70 degrees. i know. it's wild. this is not the kind of weather you would expect this time of the year in cleveland, but it will feel fantastic tonight. let's take a look at the conditions at that first pitch time. there is a little shower chance that we have to contend with, but it is very, very small. i think we'll have to watch the late innings because that's when
6:31 am
impressive, but the best chances for rain tonight are after midnight. so that is fantastic news. if it's raining and we're celebrating, will we eno the rain? i don't think so. we're off to a mainly dry start this morning a few sprinkles possible and that's the order of the day. partly cloudy, slight chance of a passing shower pretty much at any time. the big story, though, will be our temperatures. we're headed for 78 today. laura, that is a record high. if it's going to might as well break a record. over to you. >> laura: i agree. sounds great. you guys look great out there, too. it looks great on the highways for the most part. really not as many problems on this part of the map, but i have issues out there. back to this accident now. bellaire road over at brookfield avenue. a i heard it involved two cars but one car was sent into the building. one person was transported to the hospital already, and then i learned they were working for a while to get a passenger out of
6:32 am
inside. so some severe injuries expected on the scene there. lots of ems and police on the scene as well dealing with that accident. an update on this accident as well. now, originally it was a nobody accident. it's actually sob on route 8, so southbound near boston mills hearings there's an injury there blocking the left lane. the car went into the median there. so a couple of accidents right now but nothing affecting the drive times. they look good from strongsville, north olmstead, me a tia and brian, over to you guys. >> tia: lebron james said two of the best words ever, game seven. >> got to love the pressure and be able to play under pressure in a game seven, right? that's so critical. who can handle the heat tonight at the ballpark? fans, of course, are on the edge of their seats. so much at stake in this one. tribe had a couple of positives to take away from last night's game if you really want to look.
6:33 am
he had three hits including a home run. now, this was big because they forced the cubs to go to their closer. the cubs didn't want to take any chances. chapman, he pitched and he rolled his ankle last night. so how will he feel today? that could be big for the tribe. terry francona says that may be a factor in tonight's game seven. >> the next best thing is -- we talked about this before we even started, was try to make them so we hung around enough, you know, to at least chapman had to pitch. you never know. maybe that helps us. >> yeah, i think it will. i think the indians are in great shape, number one, because they have this guy, franky lindor. he's been very good. he struggled a little bit last night and reached base one time on a walk. he says he's ready. he's ready to go.
6:34 am
big game. >> like every kid, there's not one kid that is going to tell me that i've never been in the backyard that had said game seven, 3-2 count, bases loaded, one strike, the game on the line and you hit it. every kid dreams of game seven, and i'm glad i'm part of it. >> tia: one of the biggest plays happened last night in the first inning. you know what? i hate to use the word big, because it implies it was positive. this was a negative, and it dn major league baseball. >> brian: it can't happen. i know they talked about the crawed noise and lindor talked about the crowd noise, but someone has to get a glove on the ball. if you smash into each other and drop the ball, okay. this is game six of the world series. the pop-up between anyway quinn and chisel hall. that can't happen. we talked to anyway quinn and
6:35 am
understand write. then the first inning unravelled when tyler naquin and chisenhall could not communicate. they explain what happened after the game. >> in an in tweener. it's just one of those dials you wish you could make back. me being the center fielder, i need to take charge in that. and not that's my mistake. >> reporter: i don't know what they have to come up with tonight. it will be louder than it was in game six. so lonnie, tyler, get on it and come up with a plan. at progressive field, i'm tony zarrella, "cleveland 19 news." >> brian: it can't happen. it took the air and the juice.
6:36 am
place and made it very difficult. to put the air back in it, corey kluber is pitching tonight. that should help. he'll be electric. he won both games one and four for the indians. he can pick up the win tonight, and he will be the 13th pitcher to start and win three games in the world series and the first to do it since '68. >> tia: the cubs starting pitcher is a guy the indians beat in game three. if you watched the series, we're talking about kyle gates open two hours before first pitch. a little change, though, for tonight. of course, you know the game will start at 8:00 sharp instead of 8:08. that's a change. >> brian: i want to mention a couple of people sent notes saying the indians didn't actually beat hendricks in the game. he was the starting pitcher and didn't take the loss. it's a minor thing. we want to clear it up and be correct. >> tia: we want to clear up is fans are still optimistic despite the lost last night. they think the indians have
6:37 am
i think tonight is the tonight. >> i do, too. i said it like six or seven times this morning. the indians have everything going in their favor tonight from the starting pitching match-up to the bull pen being set up to the game played here with our fans in these stands. for more on the fans, let's check in with our nichole vrsansky. hey, nicki. >> nichole: good morning, guys. if you watched from your seats at progressi o watch party, but you know last night was heart-breaking. this is believeland. we're talking game seven of the world series. we got this. fans know it. we talked to fans as they left progressive field last night, and yes, some of them admitted they were crying and shed tears during last night's game. but they say this is how it happens in cleveland. they still believe, especially with kluber on the mound tonight, the team just needs to
6:38 am
intense. we have to really focus and loosen up or whatever is wrong with them. i don't know what's going on. >> you can't hold your held down losing thele games in a row like that. >> it's "believeland." we're totally ready. it's history and 1948. we're ready to be here and have earned it. >> yeah. another fan we talked referenced tom petty talking about how the waiting is the hardest part. he said we have waited this lo certainly a lot of fans will be anxiously waiting until 8:00 tonight. that first pitch absolutely, and i don't know about you guys, but i'm going to need a whole bottle of tums to get me through the game. they have been so intense. live from the seats at progressive, back over to you. >> brian: maybe that's going on with you, tia. you're sitting over here telling me you have heartburn all
6:39 am
off. i couldn't stay tuned the whole time i was so, so very nervous about that game. >> brian: how about a little taco action? are you up for that? a stolen base in game one of the world series means taco bell today, you get your free taco. it was a steal a base steal a taco promotion. franky lindor stole second in the boss tom of the first inning in last week's win over the cubs. you can get your free doritos locations. >> the shell is dorito-flavored. that's what it is. >> brian: one thing for sure, a ticket to tonight's game is going to be pretty precious and will cost you, too. >> tia: we have a lot of rich people in cleveland right now. sia, how much are the tickets?
6:40 am
is rich, but they are hoping to get their hands on the hottest ticket right now for game seven world series. you got people that have been here, and they told me since the third inning, listen, they got lawn chairs. some of them are wrapped up in the blankets. i even saw some people playing a friendly game of solitaire. there's cubs fans and indians fans here, if you can believe it. i spoke with one diehard indians fan, and he told me he will do an pair of tickets. how long have you been out here waiting? >> since the fifth inning of last night's game. >> sia: are you sure you can get tickets? >> no, we are not positive. but they did release yesterday, so fingers crossed. i'm hoping. >> sia: so james there tells me he's willing to pay almost $2500 for tickets. now, this series already holds three of the most expensive
6:41 am
history of the world series. game five in chicago. the average asking price nearly $7400. game four in chicago, more than $6800 a ticket. the average asking price for a ticket to game three of this series was over $5,000. now, the next two games don't even come close. 2010 game two between the giants and rangers, about $1800 a ticket, and game six between the red sox and the st. louis per ticket. so we are talking big, big money here to get your hands on some of those world series tickets. i was actually in a section, section 162, row ee and tickets there in that section were going for $3900 apiece. i checked it out on stustubhub. we're tracking that, and we'll see if fans get their hands on game seven tickets.
6:42 am
of progressive. i'll send it back to you all. >> tia: thank you so much. time is 6:41. apparently some raindrops could be sneaking into the forecast overnight. let's go to sam roberts for that. hey, sam. >> samantha: hey, tia. good morning. good morning if you're just waking up. there is a little rain chance today, but will that rain impact the game? we'll talk about it coming up
6:45 am
>> laura: the time is 6:45 this morning. the governor of alabama declared a state of emergency following a deadly pipeline explosion outside birmingham. the colonial pipeline ruptured for the second time in two months monday when it was struck by a track hoe making repairs. shortages and price increases at the pipe along the east coast. patrick dehan from gasbuddy.com is optimistic it won't be the came. >> after colonial's statement this afternoon and reading that it leads me to believe we may have dodged a bullet. they hope to get in pipeline back online much sooner than i would have expected. >> laura: well, dehan doesn't expect gas prices to skyrocket
6:46 am
