12:14 pm
let's face it. it's not always easy to land a job. applicants are often up against hundreds of people which is why having a standout resume is more important than ever. >> that's true. kenneth craig has more information on what recruiters are looking for and the critical mistakes some job applicants are making. >> my name is dawn. nice to meet you. >> dawn marie warner knows how important that resume can be which is why she brought a stack of them to this new york city job fair hoping to stand out in

employer's eye and leads to a new job. >> brian: all right, if you are looking for a deal on electronics, toys or kitchen items t's your time of the year. the biggest shopping day of the year is less than three weeks away and retailers are already counting on you cashing in on the deals. laura demaria spent the morning checking out some of the ads that have already been released and is getting you answers on the best deals of the season. >> laura: two and a half weeks to thanksgiving also means two and a halfks the holiday shopping season. but black friday ads, they are already being released. i have two of them up that i'm really hunting for deals on for you. this first one, j.c. penny, i'm on page 3. check this out at the top. $10 deals on things like toasters, a belgian waffle maker, we have a fryer on here. looking for an even bet deal? how about this.
12:17 pm
we always need those. fast forwarding to page 6, check out the top of this page. big yellow in a circle, we are talking luggage, $40. this is at this point beingly $180 to $220. that is a huge huge steal on that. page 18 as i fast forward here, this is a 72-page circular, mind you. page 18 has a nice deal at the very top of the page. $189.99 for this diamond ear ring set. it it's $189 that's nll so that is definitely a deal there. now we will go over to kohl's. this is the kohl's page. page 2, you will see a lot of tv ads everywhere this year. it's a trend everywhere. the prices are really going down low. but i wanted to fast forward to page 4 on this kohl's ad. because on page 4, i found a steal that i know a lot of kids grown and little kids are going to be looking at and it's this
12:18 pm
those are typically very, very expensive. so that's definitely a bargain. and of course, you can't talk black friday without talking about toys. now, toys-r-us, their ad is not quite out, but there are some predictions as to what they are going to have as their deal. so, some of their deals, 40% off of their fisher price deals, barbie and action figures, they are 50% off. and $50 off the px4 and x-box bundles. all of this information is on our page, cleve19 already released here. but we will be releasing so many more, of course, as they become available. >> tia: brian's going to love this. you will soon be able to cut the line at mcdonald's. business insider reports that mickey d.'s is getting ready to launch a feature on its app where you can order ahead of time. mcdonald's has lagged behind many other fast-food chains when

>> samantha: all right. very interesting. time now 19 after. i hope that your monday is off to a great start. it has been beautiful out there. a little cold this morning, but, now we are well into the 60s. we are sitting at 67 in cleveland right now. and i think we will be right around those mid-to-upper 60s through the afternoon. some of you may even hit 70 later this afternoon. probably around 3:00. that will be the warmest part of the day. wall-to-wall sunshine from now until sunset which, today, is at like 5:00. i think it's about 5:15 today that the sun sets. so, of course it is getting earlier and earlier. evening forecast, clear skies, no rain if you have dinner plans or if the kids have a school play or something you are going to tonight, no need for the umbrella. upper 50s at 7:00. dropping to 55 by 9:00 and then about 54 at 11:00. all right.
12:20 pm
rain coming back into the equation. i want to take you through futureview and show you that we are dry tomorrow morning. in fact, when you wake up tomorrow morning, you probably will be seeing a ton of sunshine. but clouds will increase through the day. notice my clock here at the top left hand corner of your tv screen. it does show 10:00 in the morning increasing cloud cover. but all the way through midday into the early afternoon hours, we should remain dry. it is 4:00 onward, this i in the afternoon, that rain is possible. probably closer to 5:00 to 7:00. i've stopped the model at 8:00. pretty good chance of rain there. so, if you are really busy in the morning, you don't have time to go vote on your lunch break, maybe you have to vote a little bit later, 6:00 or 7:00, well, you will probably need the umbrella. but i hope and pray that that does not stop you from going out and casting your vote. right? we are so fortunate in this country that we can do that.
12:21 pm
that opportunity to vote tomorrow. you just might need the umbrella later in the day. no severe weather, no threatening weather, just nuisance rain in the evening. for tomorrow. so, what happens after election day? we'll have a little rain sticking around tuesday night into wednesday morning. and then it gets chillier. we are near 70 today. but by wednesday, guys, some of us might not even get out of the 40s. it's going to be pretty chilly by the middle of the week. and we get cy weekend. check out veterans' day. friday night, rain possible and it might even mix with a little snow friday night into saturday morning. but, i expect this will be a little low-impact event. it's not going to mess you up on the roads just the first flakes of the season. >> tia: [laughter] what are you doing? >> samantha: yeah what are you doing? >> brian: nothing. >> tia: i think he's reacting to the possible snow. >> samantha: i thought that might be the cause of his
12:22 pm
his gyration. >> brian: just having a little fun. [laughter] >> tia: some people feel stressed out, they reach for drink. now we may know why. university of pennsylvania researchers say alcohol fools the brain into thinking it is releasing chemicals that calm us all down. signals in the brain released by stress are similar to those given out after using addictive substances such as alcohol, caffeine, and also drugs. >> brian: earlier during the show we told you of janet real es parkinson's disease. now an f.d.a. approved treatment is giving parkinson's patients hope to be able to lead normal lives again. pretty simple, too. a tube inserted into the small intestine and connected to a pump outside the body can help with the effects of parkinson's disease. it's attached to a cassette with two medications that are continuously delivered for up to 16 hours a day. the doctor says patients using
12:23 pm
longer have to worry about taking pills at exactly the right time. >> the pump allows dopamine to be infused in a consistent manner and be absorbed in a consistent manner. so that means that the patient is on all the time. and there's no wearing off. >> brian: this particular patient, up and dancing with his wife a half hour after the procedure. doctors say the side effects of the treatment are just similar to the ones taking oral medications. >> tia: well there's still more to come on cleveland 19 news at noon. it it' going viral. see why this man who is mad about the 1960s thriller about the 1960s thriller decided to make the hillary clinton: i'm hillary clinton and i approve this message. vo: in times of crisis america depends on steady

>> brian: he got creative when he decidedded to announce they were expecting a new baby. the irishman is a big horror film buff and decided to make the parental parody a little creepy. let's hope they don't name their child chucky. >> tia: that would be creepy. no. that was an interesting way to say i'm having a baby. >> brian: what did he do? tweet it out input it on facebook? >> tia: probably. that's where it always >> samantha: let's look at the seven-day planning forecast. today, no problems, near 70, please. go outside and enjoy it because as you know we do not get this nice weather all that often in november. right? it should be a lot cooler than this. election day tomorrow we'll have some showers around late in the day. so those of you who vote after 4:00 in the evening probably will see some rain. >> tia: go vote whatever you do. right? thanks so much for joining us. the young and the restless is up

and everyone's getting dressed. donald trump walked into the dressing room while contestants, some as young as 15 were changing. standing there with no clothes. you see these incredible looking women. i'd look her right in that fat ugly face of hers. she ate like a pig. a person who's flat-chested is very hard to be a 10. do you treat women with respect? uh... i can't say that either.
