this is not the place you want to ebe. we saw thousands of spring breakers enjoying the final minutes of sunshine. it's pretty under control. nothing like we saw overnight. these are some of the videos that were going viral o social media. you can see a wild crowd of spring breakers crashing with -- clashing with police. there were reported fightsnd obvious traffic jams. ami beach police are out in full force. an extra 30 cops o duty as part of the spring break task force. a huge increase in tourists here. police want to just be ready for anything. minutes ago the beach closed for the evening. closing before sunset because of the mess that has been left behind on our beautiful beaches. take a look at this ugly sight. not what we want to see. in fact -- a number of volunteers who live here in

chance of rain. clouds filtering in overhead. this is a live look at the ford lauderdale tower cam. we are dry in broward and the florida keys. as the winds shift more out of the south, southeast tomorrow we'll watch the humidity and temperatures shoot out and eventually a 40% chance of afternoon thunderstorms mainly for horthern dade and broward county. today 79 degrees in fort lauderdale. 91 above the normal 81. about 3 degrees to that tomorrow. right now as you get outside on saturday, 66 key west. that's one of the cooler readings as is fort lauderdale. and everyone has the southeast breeze now between 10 and 15 miles per ur. as far as wind gusts out there, we're watching them between 20 and 25 miles per hour. right now miami has a wind gust of 26. for the rest of this evening we'll hold in the mid-70s. breezy and warm. we'll talk more about the timing of the thunderstorms tomorrow

2016 fallout from last night's violence in chicago at a trump rally. fights broke out in the crowds. at least one protester got on the stage and thousands of people swarming outside the building demanding trump never be let in. protesters even managed to shut down a major highway. >> trump posted about the rally being shut down. the donald tweeted: the organized group of people, many of them thugs who shut down our first amendment rights totally energize america. protests continues in ohio on saturday. this is video of the protesters. even though trump was given a warm welcome from the crowd. >> i know it's not--. >> reporter: donald trump ducking on stage and the secret service rushg in. a scuffle in the crowd creating a security scare during his rally in ohio. >> thank you for the warnin

clinton leading sanders by 28%. 31% would votot for sanders. florida's primary election is this tuesday. early voting ends today. now to a tragedy in new york. at least one person is dead. two still missing after a vessel crashed into a construction barge on the hudson river. authorities say the tug boat began sinking 10,000 gallons of fuel into the water. >> righthtow the search is still continuing f f the two missing. we have dive teams here. the conditions in the river make it too unsafe f@r dive teams to enter the water at this time. >> reporter: that tug boat is said to be about 30 feet below water. state police are using sonar equipment to locate the two missing crew members. a fight scene caught on camera. coming up, how a bus driver on alert caused aa head-on collision.

chicago is going a head-on collision caught on camera in alberkerky. the black car -- albuquerque. the car crashes into traffic and lights down a light pole and then a bus. here's a better look from above. amazingly no one was hurt. witnesses say it was an olde man who appeared to be intoxicateed and he told polic he took cold medicine and blacked out. officers did test the driver. he was not arrested or charged. a california home was crushed by a massive tree. take a look. the 80-foot cypress toppled over. luckily no one was inse at the time. the tree took down several power lines. the house a total loss. part of the missing malaysian flighttay have been found in africa. a piece of a plala was

it's been a delightful day. temperatures around 80 in most locations. you can see the clouds heading from west to east. mid to upper levels in the atmosphere and the wind speed is out of thehe southeast at the surface. between 10 to 15 miles per hour. couple gusts at 26 miles per hour in the last 15 minutes. you can see the current readings, one of the warmer spots at 78. fort lauderdale and key west, checking in at 76. tonight we'll settle down into the low 70s across many locations here across south florida. area of high pressure here. as it continues to move towards bermuda and this area of low pressure begins to move to the east, these will move more out of the south. tonight the concentration of rain is right here near louisiana and the tennessee valley and west of jackson heading up the mississippi river and a few moving around t(e

pensacola and the big bend. here's tonight and tomorrow. with a southerly breeze if we see thunderstorms develop they'll start at the northern part of dade and move into broward. between 4:00 and 6:00. so right now i think the better rain chance will be north dade and broward. central southern dade and down in the keys should be drier and on sunday night and monday we'll see a very warm southerly flow and a 30% chance of additional showers and thunderstorms for monday. winds look pretty good tomorrow. may have to dodge a couple thunderstorms in the afternoon. if you're taking a boat out, small craft caution. seas 2 to 3 feet. small craft advisory from the florida keys where seas will be 3 to 5 feet.
