what you'll get depends on where you live. >> exactly and the timing is key as well especially when you're talking about march snow because when it falls during the day it has a very hard time accumulating and that's something we're going to experience the second half of the weekend but right now as we look at satellite and radar, we have a cold front to our north. that fronts has brought some clouds in here this afternoon. a couple of sprinkles up in the lehigh valley but this is going to bring a drop in temperature and set the stage for some snow here especially the second half of the weekend. it is 63 in philadelphia right now. very warm way strong wind out of the west ahead of this front. 37 in syracuse, 36 in burlington and those winds will continue to funnel in out of the north tonight and throughout your saturday. excuse me. as we look at double scan live radar down to the south we have a piece of energy near saint louis. we also have moisture in the gulf of mexico. these two will come together and it's going to develop a low just off of the carolinas which will deepen its way, coastal storm, nor'easter,

[gunfire] police shot salah abdeslam in the leg and detained him along with four other suspects including three individuals who have sheltered him since the attacks on november 13th. this is video of a suspect coming out of the house with a wounded leg. officials suspect that this is abdeslam but there has been no specific confirmation. abdeslam is believed to be the mastermind of the siege that killed 130 people in paris. an intense manhunt continues tonight after authorities reveal that even more terrorists were involved in the paris slaughter than

previously thought. and of course world news with david muir will have more on the dramatic capture tonight at 6:30. it began with a discovery of a dead man at a trailer park in stanton, delaware and ended with the arrest of a suspect in landenberg chester county. "action news" reporter vernon odom fills in all the details. >> we're treating it as a suspicious death and that's the reason investigators are on scene right now. >> reporter: suspicious indeed. the daughter of the 69-year-old man who lived here alone on indiana avenue in stanton's park place trailer section had called police to come here this morning after she found him dead. his car a gray oldsmobile missing. police did not have to look far to find it. it was in a nearby section of town with a young male relative of the deceased driving. >> we were able to locate a subject operating the vehicle which led to the pursuit which ended in landenberg township in pennsylvania. that person was taken into

custody and transported to avondale barracks in pennsylvania. >> reporter: only "action news" was there when the male was arrested on blue hen road in landenberg chester county. they are not yet labeling him a murder suspect because they're waiting for the medical examiner's report before calling it a homicide. neighbors returning home from their overnight jobs were shaken up by the presence of so many cops who spent the day here gathering evidence at the trailer park. >> when i come in i see a lot of police. i fear because my husband is in my house and i think maybe something in here. >> reporter: new castle county police hope to get that autopsy report late tonight or early tomorrow morning so they can decide how to proceed. i'm vernon odom, channel6 "action news" in minquedale, delaware. >> police say they have finally solved the murder of a 17-year-old boy who was killed in norristown exactly five years ago today. 23-year-old omar massenburg is now charged in the shooting death of ray dawkins.

the teenager was gunned down at noble and west oak streets on this day in 2011. detectives say cell phone information and witnesses led to massenburg's arrest. he is being held without bail. two highrises will be torn down in north philadelphia at 7:15 tomorrow morning. 15 low rises will also be imploded. not torn down but imploded at the norman blumberg apartments at 23rd and ingersoll. it is part of the philadelphia housing authority's plan to revitalize the area with new apartments and townhomes. some people are being asked to evacuate during the implosion. those in the center section of this map should leave by 5:00 a.m. and throws in red section are in the dust zone and they should keep their doors and windows closed. so, villanova has an easy time of it. temple has to endure a heartbreaking defeat. it is all about march madness

>> bed bugs disconfederate this week at murrell dobbins high school in north philadelphia. students were told to report to class even while exterminators were treating the building. some parents were upset with that decision. but the school district said it was safe for the can kids to be there. there were hugs and hand shakes all around today at cooper medical school at rowan university as fourth year students found out where they will be doing their residencies. this is match day, the day when medical students around the country open their sealed envelopes to reveal where they will continue their careers as physicians. by the way this is cooper's charter class. this was the first match day at the medical school and in may these students will be the

first graduating class. she served her country as a member of the military. now as a veteran she is being rewarded for her sacrifice in extraordinary fashion. new jersey correspondent nora muchanic has the story. >> reporter: army veteran jen nay dawson is beside herself touring the home she's moving into. after a year of being homeless and staying with friends and relatives she and her seven-year-old son will have a place to call their home. >> i'm just appreciative that i can call something home, i can turn my own key, i can lay down, i'm going to school to become a nurse so i can like live out my dream and especially and be comfortable. >> reporter: jeanine's dream is a reality. they renovated this three bedroom top to bottom relying almost entirely on donated supplies and labor. >> it took a year and a half because it was all volunteers and we fitted in when we can and you know we made it work. >> you couldn't give to it a

better person, a vet that protects us all the time so we in return gave her something nice. >> reporter: she's a nursing student at camden county college and will rent to own through a partnership between catholic clarities and the community asset preservation corporation. >> the idea is to keep this going, take the funding put it into other homes and kind of do the same thing for other families. >> reporter: contractors say when they first began work here some of the neighbors were skeptical but over time they accepted them and began to welcome the work they're doing here. >> i have no worries. all i can say is thank you so much. >> reporter: her sister and her daughter will be living here, too and thanks to some kind hearted contractors, jenae is no longer homeless and will soon own a home of her own. in camden, i'm nora muchanic, channel6 "action news."

out there. a few clouds moving in from the north. there were a couple sprinkles in the poconos and this is the cold front that will introduce more winter-like air as we get into the weekend. right now it's 49 degrees in mount pocono. that number dropped basically 10 degrees in the last hour. still fairly mild reading allentown, lancaster in the upper 50. 63 millville and dover and pretty equal to that in wilmington but we've had those very strong winds ahead of that front out of the westerly direction today, 9444 miles an hour in many locations. most of the scattered showers are off to our north and you can see they're really starting to fade as we're losing that daytime sunlight and once the sun sets, the clouds will fall apart and then our eyes are way to the south. you can see moisture starting to pull together here. it is still rather a fracture so he to speak but it will pull itself together and develop a storm off the coast and that will send a lot of precipitation through the

midatlantic and eventually the northeast. but for tonight, we've got there clearing sky. it turns brisk and colder. 20's in the northern and western suburbs, the majority of the region buffer the freezing .38 philadelphia, 36 wilmington, 39 cape may and toms river at 36 degrees. as we get into your saturday, it starts bright in the morning. a little chilly with temperature in the lower 40's. 45 at noon and then clouds really 36 ken up quickly during the afternoon hours and even a few showers developing late in the afternoon from the south working its way north with a temperature coming in at 48. as we look at future tracker, tomorrow evening at 7:00 p.m., you can see some mixed rain and snow showers in southern areas it's just cloud deal. north of philadelphia tomorrow evening into tomorrow night and then the real bulk of the precipitation as this nor'easter develops pulls in. sunday morning this is lunchtime that wet snow north and west, temperatures well above freezing so melting on most surfaces throughout the day on sunday with rain south and east. that continues 5 o'clock

sunday afternoon. wet snow north and west. at this point it will start to accumulate on some of the grass, the trees, the cars but again, wet pavement south of the city, still only seeing that cold rain and that continues into sunday night with that wet snow north and west. mainly rain south and east but even in southern areas it will change to some wet snow before it ends. those far southern areas of new jersey, delaware at the very end sunday night a quick coating to an inch is likely but for the majority of our area, we're looking at one to 3-inches of that wet snow and some of the higher terrain in southeastern pennsylvania like chester county near elverson or montgomery county up in the lehigh valley there could be some pockets of 4-inches. so, it's that very heavy wet snow, mainly melting on the roads and elevation plays a big role in march snowstorms. the higher you're up the more snow that can stick and then the rain/snow line very tricky as we go into sunday and sunday night. exclusive accuweather 7-day forecast, 48 tomorrow sun
