takes another turn. the announcement coming out of atlantic city today. but the big story is the stormy accuweather forecast, going live outside sky 6 hd showing us the jersey shore in atlanta city. a day full of rain and potential for gusty thunderstorms. meteorologist, david murphy is tracking the latest from the action news big board. >> reporter: take a look there is lighter rain in philadelphia and another batch of it up toward trenton and that is not all that intense. you have the windshield wipers going around and spray on the windshield, and delaware county and newcastle county and up towards berks county, you see that yellow? that is rain steady enough that it will pile up on the roadways. you'll have to slow up the speeds. i am not seeing any thunderstorms yet but i am concerned with this guy here.

you see that bow in the line of rain, that is usually an indication in a the wins behind this section are a little stronger and once the rain hits the ground the winds ahead of it also get strong. look for gusty winds ahead of southwestern chester and parts of lancaster county towards the chester county border. areas of northern chester county will see that before too long. strong winds followed by a real heavy downpour. it looks like this is going to be a less than all day affair. this will probably get through the big batch of heavy rain and we'll get into the lull and not as much is going on we have to keep our eyes on the secondary system coming through and it brings lighter more scattered showers through the late afternoon and evening hours, round one now and then heavy stuff and lighter stuff coming in later. we have a wind advisory mainly over south jersey and delaware where wind gusts off the ocean could go as high as 45 miles per

nomination is still focused on pennsylvania. bill clinton is here to campaign pour his wife hillary. and bernie sanders is addressing a labor committee in center city. vernon odom is live now where sanders spoke this morning. >> reporter: good afternoon rick this morning senator sanders was formerly endorse by the worker here before he came here to the aflcio convention to generate more support from this group. sanders took his turn this morning the day after hillary clinton was here and drew a larger delegate turnout. he says his voting record is 98% pro labor. and will work for them if he wins the office in november. sanders continues to blast hillary clinton as a tool of washington fat cats.

released new video of the airport bomber who survived. you see the man in the white jacket wearing a hat as he walked out of the airport on march 22nd after the deadly attack. the same man seen with two other suicide bombers and side of the bus els airport. they are issuing a public appeal for any information about the suspect. police say robbers targeted the dunkin' donuts on olney avenue at 4:30 this morning. the manage says he was approached by two men wearing masks and ordered him to empty the safe and was hit in the face before the robbers took off. there say new plan to save atlantic city. he combines elements of a two bill package endorsed by the governor that he has refused to put up for a vote.

he is against provisions that will allow the state to cancel union contracts and sets up a showdown over the future of atlantic city. villanova students get another day off to celebrate the national champions. the university and law school canceled classes tomorrow so everyone can attend the parade. ever since the championship everybody wants a piece of the wildcats. even the president. >> your team shows grit and you know really -- high character team throughout the thing. it was a pleasure to watch -- >> villanova administrators are now encouraging all students to use the day off tomorrow to join in the festivities in center city. the school is working with septa to sell one day passes to get down to the city for the parade. it kicks off at 20 and and market and goes to dillworth

there is a reward leading to her arrest. residents in southwest georgia were awakened by a suspected tornado. here in marietta, strong winds cause aid tree branch to rip a hole in an apartment. and several people were hurt when a mobile home was destroyed. federal authorities in oklahoma say that a wild fire is 20% contained. is it started tuesday when high winds damaged power lines. meanwhile another wild fire continues to burn along the arizona-california border and investigators have not ruled out arson as the cause. today vice president joe biden is teaming up with a super star for a good cause. he will appear beside lady gaga to raise awareness of sexual assault on college campuses.

regulators issued a recall for clothing made by ivanka trump's clothing line. they sold 20,000 of them since october of 2014 and january of this year. u.s. officials say no injuries are reported but anyone that has one should stop wearing it and return it for a full refund. and turning to health check a new study is putting kids meals to the test. researchers looked at 10 fast food chains and the thing was that many kids meals were under 600 calories that fell into guidelines, but few met the criteria for total fat and sodium content. the first device made

just minutes ago david warned us about strong gusty winds and thunderstorms. they have arrived. >> we have a cell that just popped. stormtracker 6 live double scan shows you that there is lighter rain to the north and east and it's the area highlighted in yellow and red than is the real concern, and if we go in tighter we have the blue box and storm track moving close to wilmington, delaware and this line of red is not only potential thunderstorm activity with heavy downpours and pushing out potentially damaging winds out ahead of it. we have potential of 50 to 60 miles per hour gusts.

and you can see we are a couple of minutes from getting slammed by this. from you in these towns or anything out ahead of this approaching band. take cover in the lower floors, these wind gusts are strong enough to take down free branches and the heavy rain makes less than ideal for driving. this is moving off to the northeast and i want to move the indicator up north because we are getting new towns to track for you. i am concerned about this area of precipitation as well. we talked a moment ago about how you get the bow echo, a band in the rain. see that? that is often times an indication that stronger winds are coming in behind the line of rain and that can translate into stronger wind gusts ahead of it. and this is what we are concerned about ahead of the heavy rain with 50 to 60 miles per hour gusts. downingtown and harmoniville and

ludwigs corner now and 12:30, are you looking at at rival of potentially heavy rained followed by heavy wind. and by the way it takes about a half hour for the lines to continue along the length of that red arrow, you can look at this and see that malvern and maybe 15 minutes from now and norristown maybe 15 minutes, we can't say they will maintain their strength but as you look at it now the potential is in there. some of this is heading up the i-95 corridor and if it maintains the same strength philadelphia could be looking at this in the next half hour. take cover from the storms as they plow through over the next 30 to 60 minutes, reading has some heavy downpour as associated with this as well. as we look outside. we have calmer paust pastures
