we begin this morning with breaking news from north philadelphia. three people are confirmed dead after a shooting in a home here on the 600 block of east west moreland street. a man shot his brother and his brother's girlfriend and another male front after an argument. the shooting suspect himself called 911 and reported what he had done according to police. when officers knocked on the door, the suspect refused to come out. they called in the s.w.a.t team and other officers. after two hours of negotiating police head gunfire. they entered the house and took the gunman into custody without incident. police searched the house and found the three people dead who

the medics and firefighters rescued some residents, but several others were trapped on balconies. mark conover was at the development with his sister and daughter. he said his daughter alerted him to the fire and he noticed a woman on the balcony. he told us what he did next. i lifted her over the rail. there was a ledge on the side. after that i jumped over the rail and was handing her down, there was like 3 or 4 police officers they were they got her by the bottom of her body and we lowered her down. loney hall said she saw his heroic actions and went to help out some folks. my mom lives other there, i ran over there, i knocked on people door that lived around and made sure they were okay, family members i knew, and friend made sure that they were okay. and needed anything i could

help. three people were taken to the hospital, one person was overcome by smoke. 100 firefighters worked on the fire. 8 apartment are a total loss. the red cross said it is helping 24 people displaced. the cause is being determined. 7:05. philadelphia police are questioning a person of interest after a deadly shooting of a 4-year-old girl by her sibling. the girl was shot once in the chest inside the family home in kensington yesterday afternoon. officers say her 5-year-old sibling fired the shot using the mother's boyfriend's gun. police are not saying if the boyfriend is the person they are questioning, but they say he ran away from the scene after the shooting. jeff chirico will have reaction from neighbors in the next half-hour. new this morning, one person critically injured after a shooting in vineland, new jersey. the action cam 8th an cherry streets. the shots were fired at 1:30

gutted a home in pennsauken, new jersey. flames broke out at 11:00 p.m. in the 6100 block of magnolia avenue. this is viewer video. now, a person driving down the street probably saved the lives of the people inside the home. the driver saw the fire and ran to the door and banged on it until someone answered. three people were in the house and got out safely. it took 45 minutes for firefighters to gain control of the blaze. the red cross is finding temporary shelter for the residents. investigators are looking for the cause. heroic efforts at a apartment fire in pine hill, camden county. ems crew was across the street when the fire started. they ran to the burning building on west branch avenue and rescued several individuals. some residents were trapped on balconies. mark conover were at the development for dinner with his

sister and daughter when his daughter saw the flames. he helped someone screaming for help. i saw an older lady on the second floor, she was screaming for help. i scaled the side of the buildings, i was trying to get her down. she was frightened, so she was clinching the railings, so i like had to pull her arms to get her off, after i did that, i listed her over the rail and -- lifted her over the rail and handed her down to the police. frightening time for the folks there. we know three people were taken to the hospital, one with smoke inhalation. two people fell running out of the buildings. they are okay. it took 100 firefighters about an hour and a half to gain control of the flames. red cross is finding temporary shelter for two dozen people. the fire destroyed 8 apartments and no word about the cause. philadelphia police say they are talking to a person about a fatal shooting of a
