washington and baltimore, south of hagerstown, some showers and downpours have popped back up and we see them sliding to the east and south and we see pop-up showers tonight and cloudy and damp with patchy fog. 51 in philadelphia and 48 degrees in trenton. as we look at future tracker 63:00 in the morning trying to pivot more energy through you see rain kick up here in the early morning hours of wednesday, for the rush tomorrow morning, scattered showers around and not an all day washout. hanging tough. and some scattered showers around and that continues into the afternoon and by the afternoon at 4:30, hopefully a lot of that will start to lift to the north and we see more breaks in the spotty rainfall as we get into the latter part of your wednesday, the four day at 4:00 forecast, the cool conditions continue here into wednesday and the on and off

police say that two cousins that were shot this morning in south philadelphia were selling drugs on the street. this happened just before success a.m. at broad and somerset. police say that a 16-year-old boy was shot four times and a 20-year-old woman was shot in the back. and both ran several blocks and called 911 and medics rushed them to the hospital and they are expected to survive. it appears a car pulled out a lake in new jersey was stolen. rescue teams came out to north lake road and birch field drive in mount laurel last night after reports that a car was under water. dive teams found the vehicle and crews were able to pull it out of the lake. police have not said who they are looking for in connection

the hotel. that is a union shop, at this hour, the verizon strike continues, i'm vernon odom, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. the search continues today for a man who escaped a south jersey prison just days before he is due to get out. arthur buckle broke out of the bay side state prison in bay side, new jersey, they noticed he was misagent 6:00 a.m. today and was serving time for aggravated assault and was scheduled for patrol on may 21st and now could face additional time once captured . police are looking for the man that robbed someone outside of turfs club. they revealed this picture of the suspect, they say he stole a coach bag from a 64-year-old man as he walked out of the club in south philadelphia in early april. the bag reportedly had $5,000 worth of cash and credit cards inside.

a thank you navy seal has been killed while serving in northern iraq. the american died during a fire fight with isis that likely came within a few hundred yards of the u.s. forces. officials have not released the u.s. service member's name. this comes as the u.s. expands their role in iraq, they were among those not fighting on the

frontlines. police say a man attacked a driver on a bus with passengers on board. the passengers ran for their lives as did the bus driver who managed to hit the emergency on the door. the attackers took off on the bus and hit a wurp and killing a pedestrian. police say the entire situation up folded in three minutes. >> a bizarre incident uncharacteristic for someone that tries to take a bus and then attack a bus driver, the officers did a great job in bringing the suspect into custody and he was arm wade weapon. >> now investigators say the bus had surveillance cameras and they have video of the the entire crime and the injuries are not life-threatening and most of the passengers were hurt. big talkers now and the big question does the punishment fit the crime.

this is at the center of a big scandal in mesa, arizona. a high school football player making good on a dare and exposing himself during a team picture. school officials did not pick up on the nudity before it was placed on the yearbook and prints and distributed and that same photo was used in the football program and sold at games, hunter osborn is facing 69 counts of indecent exposure, one for every student and faculty present when taken. it can be reduced if anyone over the age of 18 doesn't wish to press charges. osborn was disgusted by what he had done and now the year back is being changed. it's a growing change across the pond, pawternity leave.

now out of the woods but the drivers are not out of the woods on the southbound side of 95, the left lane is slowly squeezing by into the state of delaware this is creating a massive backlog and as chopper 6 hd pans to the right you see the poor people stuck on 95 southbound waiting to come down from the area of the blue route to the state line not getting anywhere quickly, lets go to the maps and check the speeds, 5 miles per hour, 12 miles per hour. and again you want to stay local. 291 or 13 instead of 95 southbound or stay on the southbound side of route 1 the media bypass or work your way into new jersey and use 295 southbound, it's clear but 95 southbound is a mess and a crash on 452 southbound. and problems here in warrington with a milk truck that ran off the 202 parkway than is blocked by the county line area here, and stay with stump road or

with the showers for the rest of the week and parts of the upcoming weekend. that sun not really making a full appearance until the beginning of next week. what are you going to do? lets look at more water. the swan memorial there at logan square. city hall is in the background and cloudy skies above and more rain is on the way. but at least not every day is a washout as we move forward. as we look at double scan live radar. not much in the way of showers and steady rain is long gone from the north to the east and temperatures have not really moved all that much since midnight bay degree or two. that is it, it's steady, 55 in allentown and 56 in trenton and 58 in millville so really it doesn't matter where you live or where you are, everyone is feeling the same exact temperature for the most part.

as we look at satellite and radar, the clouds are holding on tough despite the rain pushing to the east. most of those are sinking to the east-southeast but there is an area of energy in parts of northwest virginia that will try to pull through here during the overnight hours, it stays cloudy and damp and a shower or downpour to pop at any time and patchy fog as well. 49 to 51 for your split in temperature. as we go into the middle of the week it's cold and dreary with high temperatures overall in the upper 50s much like today and there will be showers around. in fact, it's all because of a cutoff low, basically the river of air, anything in the atmosphere is going to stall, it's not going to move. it's a traffic jam so to speak. this upper level low dives to the south wednesday, thursday into friday just to our east and that continues the unsettled weather when you add up all the

rain here for wednesday, thursday and especially friday looking to be the wettest of the three days, we add another at least .75 inch to maybe an inch and a half in spots here as we go through the end of the week. the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast again not a washout for wednesday or thursday, just a lot of clouds and cool and upper 50s to near 60 with on and off showers, friday is the day we have more in the way of some organized rain with periods of rain at 60 degrees and then on saturday, some peeks of sun trying to develop and a lot of clouds, 71 degrees and warmer here and there could be showers here developing especially late saturday and saturday night early on sunday for mother's day to kick the low away. some returning is sun on sunday at 71 and definitely much brighter as we get into early next week monday and tuesday as we move the temperatures back into the lower and middle 70s.
