news this noon. a possible bear sighting is causing a school lockdown. but the big story is breaking now in lehigh valley, the pastor of a church is facing charges related to child pornography. prosecutors just announced this pastor's arrest. >> reporter: hi sara, well the priest was identified as monsignor john mraz. he asked the man to update his computer and after finding pictures of young males. anded returned it to the police

and then was given a second laptop. and then images of underage boys. he was uncomfortable with that and he alerted church authorities, that triggered an examination of the monsignor's computers by detectives. numerous imables were on the desizes, the investigation determined it was the defendant monsignor and he searched for and downloaded the files of child pornography and did so for his own sexual gratification. >> reporter: now that arrest of the monsignor was earlier today and he was released on bail. and is not residing at saint ann's but in bethlehem. the da was asked if any children on the pornographic files had

been identified yet and he said no. if asked if it included local children, he said he did not want to speculate at this time. john rawlins, live back to you sara. >> thank you. the race for the white house comes right to the delaware valley, donald trump will be in aston, delaware county later tonight but first president obama is coxing to eakins oval to strump on behalf of hillary clinton. "action news" reporter, katherine scott joins us live near the ben franklin parkway with more. >> reporter: hi sara, that is right. we are on the parkway by 22nd street. there are detours in the area, including this one. traffic is being diverted from the parkway up 22nd. but you can get up to eakins oval on foot. as they head to the event where the commander and chief is campaigning for hillary clinton.

and donald trump will be in pennsylvania today. he will appear with his daughter ivanka. donald trump is heading to delaware county for a private event at the aston community center, scheduled to begin at 7:30 this evening and setup is already underway. over on eakins oval, hillary clinton supporters started to gather for an event this afternoon. >> we left this afternoon. >> president obama will take the stage to stump for clinton. his supporters and those of clintons are lining up. >> it's important in pennsylvania for people to get out and vote. >> pennsylvania has always been a battleground state. even though i live in new jersey i will be here day in and day out. >> i was protesting the vietnam

motorcade as it moves throughout the city. >> katherine thank you. hillary clinton is defending herself against criticism over her campaign's transparency about her health. this after clinton appeared wobbly leaving an event on sunday. her campaign revealed she was diagnosed with pneumonia on friday. clinton admitted she did not follow her doctor's offices. >> they told me to rest five days on friday, and i did not follow that wise advice and i want to get this over and done with and back on the trail as soon as possible. >> clinton added she didn't think the illness was a big deal so she did not tell the public that she was sick. detours for president obama's visit did take effect at the same time as a crash on the schuylkill expressway that added to the big mess during the morning commute. it shut down all eastbound lanes

for about an hour. at one point it took over an hour and a half to get from the blue route to 676 and traffic going westbound was backed up because of a gaper delay. all lanes were back open by 7:30 but it took a while for traffic to get moving once again. turning to accuweather, another warm and bright and sunny day, conditions are comfortable as we look live from sky 6 hd. david murphy joins us from the terrace with a check of the accuweather forecast. >> reporter: sunny and nice on the terrace, a few more clouds through south jersey and the shore. satellite shows you that overall it's fairly bright across is the region and probably staying that way the rest of the way. the thicker clouds and rain up on the other side of toronto not an issue for us today. temperatures warming up, 79 in philadelphia and 78 in allentown, trenton and

wilmington, and wilmington and cape may up to 77. and dew points not that bad. areas in the 50s and low 60s, that is not humid air at all. it gets worse in cape may and dover but generally speaking comfortable. tonight's high is 85 degrees, well off the record of 95. overnight warming up tonight. 69 is the low after two successive days we were down in the 60s in some neighborhoods. today 85 and lookout we'll get another 90 degree day if philadelphia. it won't be overly humid but maybe a little bit stickier. the thing about that 90 is it will not last all that long. as we look ahead. we could take another 90 day, as soon as this is coming. halloween only 28 days away. and when i step inside, we look

at tomorrow's heat and much better weather coming in its wake. >> david, thank you. a school is on lockdown because of a possible bear sighting in the woods near the building. they issued the level one lock down this morning, meaning all exterior doors must stay closed and teachers and students must stay inside as a precaution. two men are facing criminal charges for causing a dramatic disruption on the opening night of dancing with the star. they came on to the floor to protest ryan lochte and his scandal in brazil. the security guard had to tackle the man and they were arrested. we'll hear from lochte coming up at 12:30. in chester county, police say they have caught the man that has been exposing himself

near a west goshen intersection. they saw gary hacker with his pants down, and police arrested hacker when he got into his car and tried to drive away but got stuck in traffic. hacker is from collegeville, montgomery county. and has two previous convictions. the pennsylvania supreme court heard augments on the fair funding lawsuit. the court heard arguments from the pennsylvania department of education and lawyers for the william penn school district and six others. the school district filed the lawsuit with concerns that philadelphia is unfairly distributing the education funds. the governor has acknowledged the problem and says it's something that his office and the legislature is fixing. voters are going to the polls in delaware for primary day today. people are lined up to cast

gymnastics is being accused by two former athletes, for groping. saying they were gropes during physical therapy. and another gymnast says she was sexually assaulted in 2012. testimony is underway in the trial of a florida man accused of shooting at former neighborhood watch volunteer, george zimmerman, authorities say that matthew zapperson shot at zimmerman last year at a traffic stop. zimmerman was acquitted three years ago in the fatal shooting of trayvon martin in a case that sparked widespread protest. a school bus driver is hailed as a hero for saving all 20 students from this bus in maryland. this video captured the thick

david is back with another check of the accuweather forecast. it's another nice one. >> another nice one and an uptick tomorrow and then another nice one. we are dry this noon, looking outside to beautiful cape may, new jersey. there are a lucky few out there. some that can extend the summer down the ocean. temperature currently is 79 degrees in philadelphia, your dew point has slipped from a high of 61 earlier this morning down to 55, not what we consider humid air and it's a nice one, and winds are picking up at 9 miles per hour out of the southwest. and upper 70s in reading and allentown and trenton and 80 in wilmington and 77 in cape may

where the folks are enjoying the beach right now. >> there are clouds popping up every now and then and generally speaking it's bright and will stay that way straight through dinner time tonight. a high of 85 degrees and lots of sun and nice with low humidity and down the shore, a decent beach day for you. mostly sunny and pleasant and 78 degrees and maybe stickier the farther south you go along the coast but not bad. and a breeze at the shore occasionally. 85 is the high in philadelphia, warmer than yesterday, but the same sort of day not very humid out there. winds from the south at 6 to 12 miles per hour on average. for the evening commute, you'll have a fair amount of sunshine and 81 at 5:00 and 80 by 6:00 and by 7:00 down to a comfortable 77 degrees. and 69 overnight with clear skies and comfortable conditions building in with light winds. as we look at tomorrow a cold
