a man's car is charred and melted mess after he claimed someone threw an explosive device at him in philadelphia. the driver is being treated for burns on dolphin street near cleveland avenue. the video shows the flames from 5:30 this evening, to determine how this started. the family of the plan shot to death by police in charlotte, north carolina. is begging protesters to be peaceful. two nights of violent rights are rattling the city that is now under a state of emergency. >> reporter: charlotte is under siege by violence protests for a second straight night. >> this is a difficult couple of days for the city of charlotte. >> what started out as peaceful protests turned into chaos.
