a curfew has been declared. thursday night, and jim gardner's off, i'm monica. the big news tonight, protestors marched again through downtown streets in charlotte. calling for release of video showing police fatally shooting lamont scott. the family demanded that the video be given to the public. however the lawyer could not tell whether scott was holding a gun. the police chief said it did not provide absolute definitive evidence that scott was holding a gun. but says it does support the officer's account. and releasing the video could jeopardize the investigation. you can see from the chopper shot over charlotte, north carolina, police patrolling. but people walking peacefully again. they have been encouraged to use words instead of violence as they spread their message. as for the new curfew, from midnight, so in 58 minutes until

6 a.m. for several days until officials say the emergency is over. oklahoma prosecutors have charged a tulsa police officer with first degree manslaughter for the killing of an unarmed black man on that city's street. betty shelby shot terrence crutcher last friday. her attorney said she fired when he failed to reason to her commands. but prosecutors say she escalated the situation and overreacted. the action news morning team will be monitoring developments from charlotte, north carolina. you can start at 4:30 for the latest. and other this graining crash in burlington crash. a car rear ended a ladder truck. it crumpled against the vehicle. this was at broad street and union landing road.

the driver was rushed to the hospital. none of the fire fighters needed to go to the hospital. in wayne tonight, a 15-year-old was struck by a car in his own driveway. apparently by a family member. it happened at 7:00 on glenn hardy road near richards. he is in serious condition at the hospital. a teenager also one of two people hurt tonight in an accident here along busy route 422. the victims were dealing with a /x04broken dour car on the side of the road in upper providence when a driver plowed into them. that crash shut down portions of the road for hours during the evening rush. dave is at the pennsylvania state police barracks in winfield heights following the new information. dan. >> reporter: monica, first the latest we're getting on the two pedestrians. they're going to make it. but one of them remains in critical condition tonight. and state police know how the

accent happenedded. this was 422, the freeway shut down in both directions during rush hour. >> the traffic was horrendous. bumper to bumper. it took forever to get through. >> reporter: state police say it happened before 4:30 on eastbound 422 just north of the route 29 interchange. an 18-year-old man ran out of gas pulled to the side. his 43-year-old stepfather came to bring him gas. a state farm tow truck driver pulled over and flashed a bright yellow arrow to divert traffic. a woman in a gray sedan apparently did not see them and both the 18-year-old and the stepfather were struck. a helicopter had to air lift the step father to an area hospital. meanwhile, eastbound 422 traffic came to a dead halt for two hours. crippling motorists. >> and i had to come out of my house and go the back way. all the way through the avenues and come out on main street.

and then come over this way. >> reporter: nightmare. >> nightmare big time. >> reporter: even a trip from king of prussia to radder in was a headache. >> all the way into glascow, phoenixville. that was an hour and a half to get here. >> people tried to find alternate routes. >> but even the traffic there was backed up. >> reporter: there was no escape. >> no, there wasn't. >> reporter: and other motorists got out of their cars and started talking with each other knowing full well when something like that happens on 422, you're stuck. fetor about it. >> yes. >> reporter: 422 was fully reopened just before 8:00. tonight the 43-year-old was undergoing surgery for injuries that he suffered. the 18-year-old is okay. and the woman who struck them was not injured and refused medical treatment. police say it's unknown how she did not know what was going on. live here at the belmont state police barracks, channel 6

action news. monica. >> thank you, dan. buckingham township police found a driver suspected in a deadly hit and run from this afternoon. the pedestrian was struck in the 5700 block of route 202, not far from peddler's village. authorities are identifying him so far as a 31-year-old from buckingham. police say they found the striking vehicle on route 9 in new hope and took the 52-year-old woman behind the wheel to the hospital for further investigation. politics now. donald trump is pushing hard to win over pennsylvania voters. though the protestors that he encould wantered arriving in center city likely won't be convinced. the action cam was there as the republican nominee left a private fundraiser at the ritz carlton. he picked up several cheese steaks at genos in south philadelphia. offered to buy for a group. when asked how debate preparations are going, he said i'm here, it's going great.

>> reporter: fresh on many voter's minds is the unrest in charlotte and tense relationship between minority communities and the police that serve them. >> safety. safety. it's the number one. we need to be safe. we need to feel safe. >> i'm a veteran with all the stuff going on in the country. he's the guy. the law enforcement guy. >> i would have liked to hear more about the police brutality things. it's a really pressing issue. >> reporter: thousands packed the studio for the second visit this month. with 20 electoral votes up for grabs, the focus on the middle class living outside the city. how would you describe the energy? >> it's the greatest energy i have seen. i have never seen a politician be able to bring out this big of a crowd. and made people my age interested in politics. >> reporter: not everyone was sold by his message. our cameras caught a handful of disruptive attendees being escorted out. still, his words caught the ears of some swing voters.

cyber security breach of an e-mail provider. yahoo! thinks a hacker working for a foreign government did it. it goes back to 2014. raising additional alarms about why it wasn't uncovered and disclosed until today. including names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, birthdays and security questions and answers used for verification. security experts say it is those kind of details that could be used for identity theft. and to access other accounts through forgotten password links. so they're saying to you, it is essential for you to change those item if you use them on any other sites. new details about the suspected bomber who attacked new york and new jersey last weekend. we know ahmad rahami was shot seven times, including in an artery by police. he is unconscious and has a breathing tube. doctors have not cleared him for interviews by officers. there was no one bomb factory,
