anti-police rants on social media. and what make this is particularly news worthy? she works for this district justice in delaware county. wednesday night and the big story on action news tonight is a real problem percolating in darby borrow and police officers are irate. action news reporter dann cuellar live at the strict justice's office. dan, what's the full story here? >> reporter: well, jim, a number of delaware county officers posting a fierce battle against district justice leonard tantagia. for refusing to take action against a clerk known for posting vile anti-police rhetoric on social media. now alleged to have tip offed a drug dealer that he was about to get arrested in a drug sweep. >> time to take action. >> reporter: almost a hundred police officers and their supporters rallied outside the office the district court administer demanding action.

>> our main concern is the safety of the officers. none of the officers coming into the court feel safe. i can't speak for conwin. they are outraged about erica robinson, a clerk in the office known for social media posts filled with hate against police. some filled filled with so many expletives we can't show them. >> she that is a right to express herself, but not a right to endanger my officers. >> reporter: they alleged is she leaked sealed information to a drug offender before a raid, endangering 150 officers. when one of the teams asked robinson about this, she hid. >> i'm here to ask miss robinson some questions. >> you have to leave. >> reporter: we caught up with the judge. how can you have somebody like that working in your office? >> that's the allegation. no comment. >> reporter: what are you going to do it about it? >> no comment. >> reporter: no comment. don't you think the public has a right to know. judges have a special role. we're not allowed to comment. no comment. >> reporter: we must point out

park section of philadelphia. happened an hour ago in the 4200 block of north franklin street. the unidentified victim was shot several times and pronounced dead at the scene. surveillance video shows the terrifying moments as two men barged into a home in the long crest section of philadelphia. it is a story we first told you about at 11:00 last night. you can see an armed suspect walk into the home of a legally blind man and his wife on the 1300 block of hellerman street. the couple recently bought a gun after reports of other home invasions in the neighborhood. >> my husband had it on the dining room table. he went to reach for the gun, but about the time he went to reach for our gun the guy had a gun up to his neck. and he was telling us if we don't shut up and be quiet that he would shoot both of us. >> a second man then came into the house with a hoodie pulled tight to conceal his face. fortunately the couple's son and nephew were across the street at

the time. philadelphia police launched a search for three vandals who did their dirty work in southwest philadelphia. live at 1314 southwest 47th street. jeanette reyes. it was a despicable act, and police have the video. >> reporter: it has a lot of people in this community outraged. the artist behind this mural spent 40 hours working on it only to see it destroyed in just a matter of seconds. but what the vandals didn't know is there were a set of eyes watching them the entire time. it's an unspoken but well known rule in the world of street artsists and numberrists, never paint over work. >> be respectful and appreciate it. don't go over other people's work unless you can top it. >> reporter: but that's what happened to the brand new commissioned mural in front of the philly home brew outlet west. the surveillance video captures the vandals in the act around

3:00 in the morning on friday. first you can see the three taggers walk by, each looking over at the mural. here they are from another angle. they stop a few feet away and seem to think about it. then two of them whip out the gold and white spray paint and go for it. >> i parked up the road and then i saw all the tags up on the project. and i hadn't seen those. and then the door over the school library. and then that. >> reporter: the business owner says he installed the two surveillance cameras partially because of the new mural. >> oddly enough it was the same day we installed the cameras. >> reporter: delivered the news to the artist who spent 40 hours creating it. >> well, that didn't take long. >> reporter: he has completed over 60 murals in the philadelphia area over the last three years. this is the first time one has been tagged. >> people will see it. some people will mess around with it. some people appreciate it. >> reporter: it's also the first time he'll have to go back and redo some of his work. >> so i'm going to go in and fix

tim sloan will succeed stumpf as ceo. atlantic city officials disclosed plans tonight to seize more than 500 abandoned properties. citizens learned that the city will gain possession of the properties through tax liens, emergency condemnation and eminent domain. the goal is to sell the properties to developers for repair or to build up from the ground. of course, the financially crippled city is hoping to make money as part of an effort to avert a state takeover. bill cosby has lost his latest effort to have the sex assault charges thrown out against him. the pennsylvania superior court rejected the motion for three counts of aggravated indebris sent assault. it was alleged from andrea constand in 2004. cosby is set for trial in june. he has pleaded not guilty. more than a dozen cats

federal officials now believe suicide brought down a plane yesterday in east hartford, connecticut. a flight instructor survived the crash. he told investigators that the student pilot was disgruntlelled and there was a struggle in the cockpit. the instructor was unable to regain control before it crashed on a busy road. the student was killed and the fbi is on the case. in north carolina, the rivers are still rising. water has taken over the town of

the board honored members of the local colombian community. giving a keynote speech. and members of the family, dee yay go and the president and general manager on hand to offer their support. fire is everyone's fight. that was the message tonight during philadelphia's citywide home fire drill in overbrook. fire commissioner adam teal said it's important for everybody to have a fire escape plan and practice it. tonight's fire fighters reenacted a real life blaze and demonstrated demonstrated that having a plan increases your chances of survival. this, of course, is fire prevention week.
