philadelphia. police comb this scene for clues late last night in crescentville after the shooting of 28-year-old nny quezeda. >> reporter: this appears to be a attempted robbery. he was shot in that alley lined me behind row home he shared with his wife and young son. tonight police are reviewing surveillance video hoping it can help identify the two armed suspects. >> 28-year-old jhonny quezada worked here at the barbershop in 70ville. this-- fentonville. this is where he worked long hours to support his family both here and in the dominican republic. friends are overwhelmed with

grief and disbelief that jhonny is gone. >> feeling pretty shock because we don't know how it happened why it happened. he was our friend. >> beautiful people. beautiful. good guy, you know. i don't know what happened. >> the best father ever. >> reporter: his sister-in-law who did not want to be identified told us last night he took his one-year-old son inside after returning from the movies. he told his wife he was going back out. 20 minutes later around 10:45 she heard gunfire in the alley lined their home in the 5100 block of f street in crescentville. >> she calls him and tells him come home i heard some shots. he said it was me. i'm on the ground. come bring me water. i'm thirsty. and that's -- and that's all he she remembers. >> reporter: quezada is your arrived long fluff to tell police he was held up by two men at gunpoint. one opened fire at close range.

four bullets hit quezada in the chest torso arm and leg. he told meals the suspects stole his weapon before fleeing. it's unclear if he was ever able to draw the gone defend himself. he was pronounced dead at temple university hospital at 2:30 this morning. >> they took someone very important from us. >> reporter: police have interviewed at least one witness. again, there are several working surveillance cameras in this neighborhood. it's unclear at this point if any of them captured the suspects. live tonight in crescentville i'm sarah bloomquist channel6 "action news." jim. >> thank you sarah. officials at rowan university in glassboro he is investigating a sexual assault that allegedly happened on campus friday night. the student told police she was leaving an off campus party on rowan boulevard when a male student offered to walk her to her dorm. the woman says she later woke up in a dorm room as she was being sexually assaulted. students say they were

surprised to he hear about an assault on campus. >> it does put you on edge when you see it and it hits so close to home. i've been here for four years and i've mostly felt safe all four years. you here ooh something like this happen you worry. >> school officials are reminding students if they don't have a friend walk home with safety escorts are provided on campus at all hours. the fbi has released what it thinks is a very accurate composite sketch of the straw hat bandit. this is the man who law men think has robbed 11 banks in montgomery and bucks counties at the point of a gun. agents say he's hit banks in horsham wrightstown yardley twice in ambler royersford, schwenksville blue bell plymouth meeting dresher and north wales. "action news" reporter walter perez is live at the pnc in north wales. walter, police say the straw hat shouldn't obscure the fact that this guy is dangerous. >> reporter: no question, jim, that's why the fbi held a

news conference today with the hope that someone knows who this man is and calls the authorities. fbi officials say that after interviewing a bunch of witnesses, they believe this is what the so-called straw hat bandit looks like. and now authorities are linking this man to a total of 11 armed bank robberies over the past four years in montgomery and bucks counties. in each case, the thief showed up wearing any one of a variety of outfits from a suit and tie to hoodies and of course the straw hat for which he's best known. in fact only one thing has remained the same throughout. >> the a assailant has displayed a black colored semi automatic handgun during each of the robberies u investigators say they believe the suspect is driving a truck that looks like this one. they're describing it as a late model white gmc sierra or chevy silverado way white cap covering the bed. meanwhile the suspect is described as a white male between 6 feet and six-two approximately 200 pounds and between the ages of 40 and 60.

and northeast boulevard. police say the motorcyclist has been air lifted to christiana hospital with serious injuries. the driver of the car suffered minor injuries. an suv slammed into an acme this afternoon in delaware county. it came to a stop inside the grocery store after crashing through the store's entrance and ending up against the wall. this all happened at 12:30 at the glen mills acme on byers drive in concorde township. fortunately nobody was hurt but fire officials say the impact caused significant structural damage to the building. but the store is still opened. pennsylvania's 14 universities, 14 state universities could be on the brink of their first faculty strike in the system's 34 year history. "action news" reporter john rawlins is live at west chester university tonight. john, wednesday the deadline. what are the chances this could actually happen? >> reporter: well, jim, i'll tell you i might have a better chance of picking next year's

kentucky derby winner than telling you whether or not there's going to be a strike. in the last 24 hours or so a very effective news blackout has descended on the negotiations. a lot is at stake here. if there is a strike it could impact more than 100,000 kids or students statewide. a quiet fall afternoon on the west chester campus. the calm before a possible storm on wednesday. >> i'm going to go to my class and see what happens if my teachers don't show up i'll leave and just figure out what to do with the rest of my day. >> reporter: she's talking about her plans if there is a faculty walkout here at west chester. the union has a countdown clock on its web site set for a wednesday morning strike at all 14 state universities. students say they are not sure what to expect. >> i think people are confused. there's a lot of misinformation going on, a lot of rumors. >> reporter: the school says if there is a walkout students should report to their classes saying some professors may not strike or there may be another

"qualified individual taking over the class." >> i don't see how they can find so many professors to substitute especially all 14 state schools. >> reporter: currently full professors start at about $46,000 a year and top off at about $112,000 plus benefits. in a three year deal the system says it is offering for more than seven to more than 17 percent hike in pay depending on years of service. it wants staff to pay more for medical insurance and wants more part timers. there are also sticking points over the work loads for part time professors and other quality of life classroom issues. if there is a walkout and it goes more than a week or two, some students worry there may be makeup classes during the thanksgiving break, flights or on weekends. the thinking is an extended strike could jeopardize graduation for those due to exit in december like owen moore. >> i'm a little worried. i do want to grand jury. like i love college but i can't be here forever. >> reporter: well, no matter what happens in the next 30 some hours the system says it's all going to cost more
