rittenhouse square. he is charged as an adult turned himself in over the weekend, according to police he and another man were trying to commit a robbery in the park and a third man tried to stop them and he allegedly opened fire and the shooting victim is expected to be okay and the second suspect has not yet been identified. in southwest philadelphia police are looking for the shooter seen in this video. you see the suspect fire several times outside of lucky garden chinese on the 2400 block of 62nd street. one person was hit and the suspect heads inside and opens fire again hitting another person, if you have any information you are asked to call philadelphia police. contract talks resumed today less than a week before septa employees would walk off the job, right now the workers union that operates city transit are at odds with multiple issues including pensions and health

"action news" delaware valley's leading news program. with ducis rogers, meteorologist cecily tynan, and jim gardner. tuesday night septa officials and transit workers head back to the bargaining table and maryland state police shoot and kill to suspects wanted intel wear. but the big story on "action news" is the brazen overnight burglary at one of philadelphia's best known stores. and the bandit was not very discrete in the way he gained entry. he smashed his car into the picture window to the right of the front door, and authorities are figuring out what and how much was stolen but it looks like it was a big haul. bob brooks is outside of the store on chestnut street. what is the latest there? >> reporter: jim, good evening. i don't know how much more brazen this could get.

we are in fronts of boyds on chestnut and this is what it looks like now it's boarded up in the front of boyds after someone allegedly smashed their car into the front and got away with a lot of merchandise. >> the latest victim of a smash and grab is leaving people in the city in disgust. >> horrible. just horrible. >> it's a shame. >> they had a car drive into the front window and was ransacked and this was the end result. a store front patched up with plywood. and no word from police or boyds about what was taken we are told it was a lot of merchandise worth a lot of money but one person is not shocked this happened. that is hiam he owns the oncal store next door. >> they broke both of our windows and were rob
