two volunteer firefighters from stafford county are on administrative leave this morning. last week they responded to a mcdonald's in fredericksburg where an 18 month old girl was having a seizure. they decided to take her to the hospital in a fire truck because there weren't any ambulances close by. the fire chief says that the parents were supportive of that decision. the department put them on leave because the truck does not have proper equipment like an ambulance. the situation is under review.
